Dot marks are made on the inside of the tire. They must be placed close to the disc. By the way, you will need a telescopic ruler to complete the work - this will be your most important piece of equipment. Toe-out is impossible without such a device.

The ends of the ruler are set to the marks and fixed. However, it should not touch the body parts. Next, you need to combine the mark "0" and the fixed scale on the ruler. Move the vehicle forward a little, so that the ruler moves, but at the same time does not touch anything. Next, you need to check the readings. If the distance between the wheels is reduced, then the steering rods must be somewhat shortened, and vice versa. Adjustment of the length of the rods is carried out using a clutch.
