The main thing is that it meets the standards defined by the manufacturer. Oils of categories are suitable for all 2ARs - 0W-20, 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40. It is important to change the lubricant completely, pouring about 4-4.2 liters into the engine cavity. In addition to changing the engine oil in 2AR-FE, it is also important not to forget about the need to control the transmission and coolant fluids. They are subject to attention as needed for replacement, determined by routine inspections;
  • Check and change the main consumables of the installation every 15-40,000 kilometers. These elements of the motor include:
    • air filters;
    • oil filters;
    • valve stem seals;
    • some parts of the cooling system (pumps and gaskets);
    • cylinder head gaskets.
  • Check the main engine parts every 50-70,000 kilometers and replace the spark plugs. By the way, candles on 2AR-FE are standard for such motors.
