Kiya x line test drive. Test drive Kia Rio X-Line

The Kia Rio X-Line hatchback is another representative of a fairly saturated market with great competition. This complicated the task for Korean engineers - they had to bring a competitive model to the market. Today a lot is known about the car - both prices, and, and. In order to understand how the model rides, we present to your attention test DriveKia Rio X-Line.

Kia Rio X-Line

The X-Line model is an off-road version of the class B hatchback. The car is designed on the basis of the Kia Rio sedan for the domestic and Chinese markets. For this reason, we can make a well-founded conclusion that in the management of the car it resembles the Rio sedan. However, the differences between the new version and its predecessor are still there.

Unlike its counterpart, the car is shorter, taller, and wider. To some extent, the increase in these parameters is due to the plastic overlays. The car got an enlarged one - it grew by 10 mm. The car has a different body, and also acquired elements of off-road style:

  • roof rails;
  • double trim for the exhaust pipe;
  • plastic body kit.

Initially, the hatchback is equipped quite richly. At the same time, it is quite functional and allows you to transport bulky goods, sacrificing the rear row seats. Compared to the sedan, it is slightly smaller, but as a result of the modified body, the five-door is more convenient in terms of parking.

Main advantages in movement

On the move, the hatchback and sedan have a lot in common. The use of other springs and shock absorbers does not greatly change the character of the machine. As a result of the changes, the ride has improved. Cars with 15- and 16-inch wheels do an excellent job with sharp-edged pits.

As for noise insulation, then you cannot call a quiet car. At high revs, the engine makes a lot of noise and roars. You can hear pebbles knocking on the wheel arches, and the roof rails push the air apart with great indignation. For this the manufacturer is a minus. At the same time, the roof rails look appropriate on the roof of a car, although they do their bit at high speed.

Driving is comfortable, the model is characterized by excellent handling. The steering wheel is informative, comfortable, and pleasantly shaped. The on-board computer presents the parameters in a comfortable reading format. The city car copes well with the main functions - acceleration, braking, demonstrating control precision and responsiveness. The suspension behaves in a balanced manner, overcomes various obstacles well on the road.

Many control functions are found in the multimedia display complex. A separate part of the functions is represented by standard buttons. The display reflects information from rear view cameras, navigation. Mobile devices can also be connected to the multimedia system.

The climate control system is located separately under the display. Below are the connectors for external devices. There is also a small niche for small items and buttons for warming up the seat and steering wheel. The salon has a wide variety of niches for a convenient location of small things

How to stay safe on the road

The engineers also paid a lot of attention to safety. The ABC system is equipped with a pedestrian recognition function and is able to independently stop the vehicle. The lane control system on the road warns the driver that he is rebuilding the car without turning on the indicator. The systems can be deactivated if necessary.

In the basic version, the car is equipped with a stabilization system, control of braking in corners, and stabilization during heavy braking. All this in a complex increases safety, controlling the driver's flaws.

Strengths and weaknesses of X-Line

The car has its own strengths and weaknesses.

The advantages of the model:

  • rich equipment in the basic version;
  • space in the back seats;
  • good acceleration dynamics;
  • pleasant external features;
  • convenient luggage compartment.

The disadvantages include the weak soundproofing, high noise levels at high speeds, not ideal smooth running... Perhaps slightly small and clearance.

Test drive video with increased ground clearance

Summing up

In general, the Kia Rio X-Line is an organic model that makes a whole impression. Against the background of its predecessors, the novelty looks much more attractive, dynamic, modern. We can say that the engineers did a good job presenting a competitive model for our market.

In the last generation of the Kia Rio family, the fleet was replenished mainly with sedans, the share of five-door sales was only about one fifth. It will not be enough, the Koreans decided. Therefore, when developing the fourth generation Rio, it was decided to make not just a hatchback, but a crossover ... Today, when the SUV form factor takes new heights almost monthly, this option is potentially more in demand.

True, the creators did a little strange. With all the "off-road" entourage of plastic linings and other decorations, the Rio X-Line rose from the ground by only a centimeter compared to the sedan. Objectively, in an urban environment, 170 mm of ground clearance is quite enough for almost any task. But the buyer loves the numbers, and he sees, for comparison: the ground clearance of the usual Lada Vesta is 178 mm, while the direct competitor Vesta Cross has more than 200 mm.

In the Prestige version, the ground clearance is 190 mm. It used to be 170 mm. The photo shows a clear difference between the early and current versions.

And that's where typically Korean workaholism comes in. Since there is a problem, it is urgent to solve it, and not wait for years of restyling. The Rio X-Line suspension was quickly reconfigured and the ground clearance was increased to 190 mm in standard trim levels and 195 in the most expensive Premium - the difference of 5 mm is due to larger wheels (195 / 60R16 versus 185 / 65R15). Roughly speaking, at least two centimeters. It seems that for this, it is enough just to put higher springs - and you're done. But no! All suspension components have been redesigned. And the result is already on sale.

I have on test Rio X-Line in the "penultimate" configuration of the Prestige with an automatic transmission. I will not enumerate the items of the complete set, it is easier to say what is lacking in it before "full stuffing": there is no navigation and keyless access. In general, this is all that a modern buyer can regret. But there is a heated steering wheel - this is my favorite option. The windshield is also heated - in winter all owners will appreciate it.

The steering wheel and seat heating keys are located in the most prominent place.

The interior does not shine with spaciousness, but I managed to fit all my 197 cm height quite comfortably - which means that the Rio will suit everyone.

I drove the Rio X-Line for a whole week and ... I won't say anything special. Not because everything is bad, by no means! On the contrary: I believe that the Kia Rio is one of the best representatives of segment B. I got behind the wheel and drove as if I had been doing it every day for five years. Rio does almost everything as usual and expected, understandable intuitively.

The Rio X-Line is right, steering a little sharply. It always enters into turns absolutely neutral - I could not achieve either turns or demolition of the front end. These are the correct front-wheel drive manners. The suspension with a good margin fulfills any pits and protrusions of the roadway. I even agree with the level of noise isolation: in this class it is silly to expect silence.

Rio X-Line does not pretend to be a hot-hatch laurel, so the power plant copes with its tasks with dignity. The power of the 1.6 petrol engine is enough, although, of course, 126 forces and 151 Nm are not the ultimate dream. On the other hand, the 6-speed automatic is well-tuned, it drops the steps in time when accelerating, and does not forget to switch upward with a steady motion. I would perhaps have worked on the sound of the exhaust: when the revs exceed 3.5 thousand, the howl of the engine discourages the desire to exceed the speed limit.

The screen of the multimedia system does not impress with graphics, but it is easy to interact with the interface, the menu is logical, no annoying hangs were noted. Lovers of recorders and other auto gadgets will appreciate the number of connectors: two 12 V, 3.5 mm, AUX and USB.

All my nagging about Rio can easily be attributed to subjectivity and personal anthropometric data. The armrest is too small - the right elbow is dangling in the air. The cup holders don't hold my favorite thermo mug. The mirrors are too small ...

But there are two things that I will never accept. Firstly, this particular red color does not suit the car. It is not deep, there is no volume in it, and quite successful body shapes are lost. I would go for dark gray metallic or wet asphalt. Well, the standard rims seem too small in massive arches, accentuated by plastic overlays. The imbalance can be easily eliminated by simply setting a larger radius and a larger overhang.

The folded back of the second row forms a small step. But for a budget car, the transformation of the interior is well thought out.

In the maximum configuration, this is partly done. But I would not limit myself to half measures: in the place of the future owner, I would not regret 20 thousand rubles for a set of black 18-radius discs on a low profile and with a correctly selected offset. I love cars that have personality.

Verdict

I could sum it up by once again drawing attention to the good combination of price and quality, or the increased ground clearance. But something else is more interesting. For a week, the updated Rio X-Line managed to make such a pleasant impression of myself that I seriously thought about purchasing it. True, not for myself - for my wife!

Asians love to show off. So the Kia Rio X-Line shows with all its appearance that it is almost a crossover. Well, then why has the ground clearance increased by only a centimeter? And where, if not four-wheel drive, then at least the off-road assistance button? I got the answers to these questions even before I got behind the wheel of a new hatchback, and having driven it I understood why such a "non-SUV" would be in demand

Kia Rio X-Line. Price: from 774 900 rubles. On sale: November 2017

“We do not position the X-Line as an off-road model,” the head of Kia Motor Rus, Alexander Moinov, stunned me.

Here are the ones on! And why then bother to fence this whole garden with body kits, rails and suspension modifications, killing a lot of time (only when running in the chassis and searching for optimal settings, the testers had to drive about a million kilometers). Wasn't it easier to launch a conventional Rio hatchback on the market, as it was with the previous generation model?

But Mr. Moinov has an answer to this question: “Russia is a country of sedans. In our sales, the Rio hatchback occupied only 20%. We decided to think about how to increase this share, and the idea with the X-Line was born. "

Excuse me, but wasn't it the same model, only under the name K2 Cross, which debuted in China back in the spring?

“It was not we who borrowed the model from the Chinese, but when they learned about our project, they wanted to bring the same hatchback to their market,” Nikolai Merenkov, head of product, stood up for his brainchild. “It's just that the Chinese market is more important, and the local plant is a“ donor ”of many components for the Russian plant where Rio is made, so they had K2 Cross earlier.”

One of the most successful foreshortenings of the novelty. LED taillights only available on top of the range

I have often heard and read in press releases about cars “designed specifically for Russia”, which, before their launch on our market, had already traveled along the roads of Latin America, India or China. And the fact that the idea of \u200b\u200bthe Rio X-line was born in our country makes this model unique in its way. At least, I have not come across such examples among foreign cars.

Rio X-Line has original bumpers with plastic imitation of steel protection. Compared to the sedan, the front bumper of the hatchback has a different LED DRL and fog lights.

“Before starting work on this model, we conducted a survey among Russian clients, and it turned out that they want mutually exclusive things,” Nikolai continues. “They want the car to be powerful, with huge ground clearance, four-wheel drive, and at the same time not expensive. But this does not happen! Therefore, we did like Steve Jobs - we offered the market not the product that customers demand, but the one that they will definitely like. "

The twin bell is not a makeshift chrome nozzle that you can buy at any camber. Here it is made of stainless steel and is tightly welded to the muffler bank.

Like it, no options! Better than the results of the focus group polls, this confirms the interest that the car aroused on the roads. As soon as we stopped in a busy place, as soon as people came up and asked about the price. I don’t know who the marketers see there as buyers of the Rio X-line, but the first who became interested in the car were guys over fifty who came out with handbags at the ready from the old “Sportage” with regional numbers. The starting price of 775 thousand at first embarrassed them, but when it turned out that for the "off-road" package, which, in addition to linings and rails, includes an openwork glossy false radiator grille and a "double-barreled" muffler nozzle, you need to pay only 30 thousand more than the price of a regular Rio, their eyes sparkled with genuine interest.

Glossy false radiator grille with chrome border in a circle higher than the sedan

And if they knew how well the Rio X-Line behaves on the road, the interest would be even higher! The new springs and shock absorbers not only gave an extra centimeter under the bottom (although this is of little use off-road), but also made it possible to achieve an optimal balance between comfort and handling. The Hatch rides softer than the sedan, but it drives great! I even used the 2nd generation Focus, which for a long time remained the benchmark for comfort and controllability among inexpensive cars. I am sure that after the hatchback test, the owners of Rio sedans will want to put themselves the same suspension. This is not difficult to do, since all attachment points and mounting dimensions are identical for both models. Only this will have to be done at your own peril and risk, because, according to the engineers, it is not clear how such a machine will subsequently behave in emergency situations. After all, the sedan has not only a slightly different weight distribution, but also other power steering settings.

On the track, the car pleases with handling and comfort. The dynamics, given the power of the motor, is also quite decent

It's easier to trade in the old Rio and take the X-Line. And if I took the car for myself, I would take the "base". Because against the background of wide black lining on the arches, even the maximum possible 16-inch wheels, which are only in the top-end configuration with a price of more than a million, seem small. Not to mention the 15-inch ones - on these hatchbacks they generally look like a strong man decided to fit into ballerina's pointe shoes. So it is better to take a simpler package, and buy the "casting" yourself, and not less than 17 inches. With such wheels and properly selected tires, you can still get about a centimeter of air under the "belly" - the space in the wheel arches allows you to shove even the most low-profile R17 tires. And outwardly, the car will immediately change - for example, on the Infiniti QX30, which is not much larger than the Kia, 18-inch wheels look harmonious, but try to put it on the 16th?

Due to the wide linings, the wheel arches seem much larger than they really are. Because of this, even the maximum 16-inch wheels possible for the Rio X-Line (the drawing, by the way, is original: you can't put them on a sedan) look small

We only tested cars in the "top" and "pre-top" trim levels, so I can't say what the Rio X-line looks like on 15 "caps". The choice of engines was also limited - only a 123-horsepower 1.6 and only a 6-speed automatic, but I really liked the way this bundle drives. The car accelerates briskly, while the engine noise, which is well audible during acceleration, is hardly perceptible during measured driving. Even at high speed in the cabin, you can talk without raising your voice! For a "state employee" this is so surprising that even the thought crept in - did the test machines have additional noise insulation? By the way, the interior here is exactly the same as that of the sedan. It was possible to designate the X-line version with a nameplate on the steering wheel or dashboard, or change the color of the upholstery, but the creators of the novelty decided not to do this - the buyer is primarily concerned with how the car looks from the outside, and additional improvements inside would increase the price.

There is absolutely no difference from the sedan inside the hatchback.

However, this does not mean that the Rio X-line will remain so. Kia listens carefully to the market, and if it turns out that there is such a need, we will see a new salon and other improvements. It is also possible that more affordable versions will appear: while the initial bar for the hatchback is the Comfort trim level. The sedan can be taken in the Classic version and save 60 thousand by abandoning the audio system, heated front seats and steering wheel, steering wheel adjustment for reach and central locking with remote control. But is it worth saving on your comfort? Considering that many of the fairer sex are expected among X-line buyers, the demand for "empty" configurations will be small.

Only the most expensive configurations have climate control, but even the simplest has air conditioning

Engine start button - the privilege of the top version for 1,024,900 rubles

The new AV media center is 60,000 rubles cheaper than a similar system with a navigator. And the navigation application can be launched here from a smartphone connected via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto

The trunk is noticeably smaller than that of a sedan, but the possibilities for loading it are wider

Off-road Rio X-Line should be allowed only when absolutely necessary

Driving

The car is easy and pleasant to drive, it is not afraid of bad roads, but off-road it has nothing to do

Salon

Everything is like a sedan, except for the trunk: it is smaller, but it is easier to stuff "oversized" into it

Comfort

There is plenty of legroom in the back, more headroom than the sedan, but also narrower in the shoulders.

Security

In the "base" there are two airbags and ESP with a tire pressure sensor

Price

Only 30,000 rubles more expensive than a sedan in a similar configuration

Average score

  • Increased ground clearance, excellent suspension, quiet and high-spirited 1.6 engine, relatively small surcharge for a package of "off-road" options
  • Massive lining on the arches "conceal" the size of the wheels, inside is no different from the sedan, weak off-road capabilities

Do you remember the days of the wild car boom: the late nineties, when the car, along with the mobile phone, became an everyday thing? Yes, the old one, but for one and a half to two thousand "cu", but able to move. "Golfs", "trade winds", "chisels" and "behi" went to the people, and along with the hurricane growth of the business for the delivery of spare parts and the sale of auto-organs from killed cars, a new word appeared - "tuning". When the “youth audience” poured behind the wheel, as marketers now say, it turned out that many no longer have enough just a car, which, lo and behold, is waiting for you at the entrance and is able to move by itself. Everyone who does not shave their beards wanted to excel. "Blue Pysalka", wheels with spacers and stuff like that, you remember. All this dregs were washed away by new high-quality cars on credit, when cheap tweets combined with leaky sills began to look completely stupid. Now everyone understands not only that the shelf on the trunk does not add admiration, but also that there is such a thing - design. If it was created not by a designer, but by a welder, it looks like Pininfarina will never work.

The current Kia Rio is almost flawless: at least to work, at least to the country, at least in a taxi. So good that boring? Don't you feel like being in a taxi? Yes, please - get a professional tuning of such a class that with it the car would look two hundred thousand more expensive, if it would be easy to recognize the Rio sedan in it. The new Rio X-Line hatch has no more in common with the Rio sedan than Cinderella in the kitchen with her at the ball. But they are just as close and close in everything except wardrobe and make-up.

At the rear, recognizing the Rio in a cross-hatch-back is the most difficult thing: the license plate in a place that befits it, unlike a sedan, a double muffler nozzle under the rear bumper deflector, and a silhouette with wheel arch extensions and roof rails left no mention of boredom. Side moldings added passion to the lines, while at the front, the lower radiator throat has widened the lower corners in a rally spirit. Even the clearance was beneficial - the compact visually added not only in size, but also, paradoxically, in sports.

Just remember: technically, it's still the same Rio - not a crossover or an SUV. No need to ask us to drive the X-Line to a tank range and hang the wheels. The drive here is front, rear beam, and in general everything is the same as on a sedan. Almost the same. Because a sedan on the move for cars of its class is close to perfection. The X-Line is a little less interesting on good roads. It is not as stable on a straight line, and its suspension is not as well balanced in terms of comfort and handling. Needless to say, the car is of high quality, and there is nothing to complain about, but there is also a difference with the sedan. And the most tangible - in the maximum configuration on 16 wheels: since the bumps from the “speed bumps” and pits are stiffer, and the rolls and squats on the front outer wheel in the corners of the raised and shortened car are more. The X-Line rides much better on base 185 / 65R15 tires. Especially on bad and slippery roads, on which the X-Line just flies. Plus, the standard tires are more harmoniously combined with all the elastokinematics of the suspension in corners on smooth asphalt, and they keep a straight line better, and transmit less vibrations and shaking to the salon.

Lada Vesta SW Cross
Close prices, more space inside, not as good on the go

A cross-hatchback is 30,000 rubles more expensive than a sedan in a similar configuration, and its trunk is 90 liters less. This is all the price to pay for style, beauty and ground clearance. There are not only external, but also practical advantages: the angles of the entrance of the exit give more freedom on bumps and curbs, in the park the hatchback needs 15 cm less space, and the energy intensity of the suspension will make it more fun to drive on a bumpy road.

The configurations are similar to those offered for the sedan, with the exception of the basic Classic version, which does not have an X-Line. The hatch also comes with 100 and 123 hp engines. 1.4 and 1.6 with automatic or manual transmission, and its "warm options" are just as complete - right up to heated rear seats.

KIA Rio X-line 2017

Good day everyone. I'll tell you a little about my brand new KIA Rio X-line, the car was purchased on November 25, 2017 in the basic configuration with an AT gearbox with a 1.6 engine. It was purchased for 839.9 thousand rubles. Additional options were installed: engine protection, carpets in the interior and trunk, tinted rear windows and alarm. A little later I think to install: window deflectors, hood shock absorbers and pour it with liquid glass. The car was chosen in the simplest configuration on the machine. And here there is: air conditioning, music radio USB media, heated mirrors, rear window heating, heated front seats and backrests, the steering wheel resembles leather also with heating, music control on the steering wheel, tire pressure sensor. After 2000 thousand people were told to change the engine oil. The operating instructions say SAE 5W - 20, API SM, ILSAC GF4 is the original Korean oil. Marking 05100-00451. Better to pour into the engine, as provided by the manufacturer. To date, I drove 839 km, I am satisfied with the car. The engine on the KIA Rio X-line runs quietly. The design of the car is beautifully made in the style of a crossover. The cabin with my height 176 is spacious. The box works smoothly and can be manually switched. Noise isolation is normal, a little noise is heard from the spiked rubber. The trunk is comfortable, the seats can be folded, there will be more. There is enough clearance, the suspension works perfectly.

Dignity : Looks like a crossover. Engine and automatic transmission operation. Roomy trunk.

disadvantages : It's hard to say yet.

KIA Rio X-line, 2017

A very beautiful car, it looks stylish, has, in my opinion, a sporty look. The color of the KIA Rio X-line is very pleasing to the eye, especially in the sun, according to the TCP it is light brown, in fact the color of coffee with milk with metallic. The front end looks good, but the stern is generally pretty. The door handles are not very good, it would be better in body color. Now about the interior - the chairs are very comfortable, comfortable to sit, can be adjusted even for small stature (we had such a problem with the Polo), fabric upholstery, but of good quality. The disadvantage is the short armrest. There is enough space in the KIA Rio X-line cabin. I also liked the dashboard, it is very readable (compared to the Polo - heaven and earth), the illumination is pleasant for the eyes. The control buttons are conveniently located, in my opinion, everything is at hand. Compared to Polo, the KIA Rio X-line is not noisy while driving, you can easily talk and listen to music. The engine noise is practically inaudible, but while the car is running in, the speed is not high, and we do not spin the engine much. Visibility is good, but I would like larger side mirrors. The dimensions of the car are well felt, even for my wife it was easy to drive after the Chevrolet Spark. A big plus for this complete set of the car is a rear-view camera and parking sensors, the wife parked in parallel parking the first time (it took her time to learn how to use her car). There is also a very good option: at night, when you turn the steering wheel, an additional headlight turns on to illuminate the turn, which makes it much easier to drive on unlit sections of the road (especially in the private sector, where there are no sidewalks, but there are children and dogs). In general, I really liked the head lighting of the car, the headlights are lensed, a large sector of illumination of the road and shoulders, even in the low beam. There is a mode of automatic switching on of headlights. I was pleased with the climate control, the comfortable temperature inside the entire cabin, there is no such feeling that it warms only in the legs or face. At first impressions: the suspension of the KIA Rio X-line works smoothly, the car holds the road well, even in a rut the car does not float, the holes also go with a bang. What can I say about the automatic transmission: it works very smoothly, when shifting gears, jerks are not felt, you can only see it by the tachometer. The only drawback is that when you stop in front of a traffic light (at an intersection), you feel a slight vibration when you press the brake. Now about the brakes: very responsive, one might say gentle, you need to treat like a beloved woman - affectionately. Yes, I forgot to write about the trunk of the KIA Rio X-line - it is roomy enough, there is enough space for travel on vacation with average luggage. In general, the first impressions of owning a KIA Rio X-line car are very positive, the car suits absolutely in all respects.

Dignity : appearance. Nice salon. Equipment. It holds the road well and works out bumps.

disadvantages : not seen.

KIA Rio X-line, 2017

First, about the pros. For me, this is, in fact, another car, unlike in almost all parameters to the previous 3rd generation (restyling). The suspension (I have not yet delved into the technical component) is different, the car holds the road better, at speeds above 100-120 it does not throw the stern like on the previous car, I'm sure something was done with the beam. It is more pleasant to go into turns and, despite the increased ground clearance, the rolls are less. Perhaps this is just a subjective observation, but I remember that I used to hold the steering wheel, my fingers were crunching. Engine and gearbox. Previously, we had 1.4 on a 4-speed automatic. In principle, it is enough for the city, the consumption is about 7-8 liters. Now 1.6 at 6-speed, the difference is noticeable, more confident overtaking, the flow rate is still closer to 9. The engine is more flexible in the entire rev range. Salon. Well, here I said right away that if they had put me in the car, having closed my eyes and not showing that it was a KIA Rio X-line, I would never have said that it was a KIA Rio X-line. Inside, it looks like the salons of the class, or even two higher. Of course, we are talking about a premium package. There is more space, everything is ergonomic, beautiful and where it should be. The radio is very nimble. I thought the navigation would be terrible, but I didn’t guess, it works perfectly, we have already used it a couple of times, everything is adequately calculated and led. The steering wheel is very pleasant to the touch with all controls, the speakerphone is of high quality, the dashboard looks like the Germans, the designers at KIA from the big German three are felt. Although the leather is artificial and 500 km is not an indicator, it seems to be of good quality, even with perforation. Frontal heating is a separate topic altogether.

Now that didn't like it anymore. Shumka. It's almost gone. Then I remembered how three managers from different salons offered to additionally make the underbody soundproofing in two layers. The thorns are audible strongly, I think you will have to glue it yourself. As far as I know, the first car even fell under a revocable action due to noise and water ingress due to leaks in the taillights. Interior plastic. It is beautiful and neat until you hook it, as soon as you hook it a little, a scratch or abrasion is immediately visible. For me, it is too gentle, because, for example, I really like to cling to the base of the seat with my foot when I get into the car. The frontal heating, which I praised above, has its drawback, namely the mesh. If you drive, concentrating on the road, then everything is fine, but as soon as you notice it, it immediately interferes. The image at different angles and under different illumination is refracted, for example, at night with oncoming headlights it is already a little annoying, as if the image is fuzzy. The glove compartment is just tin. You cannot put A4 format, so that nothing is crumpled, if the palm is large, then it is corny inconvenient to put something in and get out of it.

Dignity : see review.

disadvantages : see the review.

KIA Rio X-line, 2018

Nice car for your money. All heating, top-end music, rear view camera, good light, roomy interior, good suspension, price and quality. Not a big expense, spare parts for a spear. I did not like the noise isolation in the KIA Rio X-line. We definitely need to improve. Well, in general, take it, you will not regret it, I advise. X sign - they will notice you everywhere, the machine switches, the engine is running, the wheels are spinning. Heated frontal. For fishing, the very thing, the clearance is high, I put large wheels and spacers under the springs. Now, like in a UAZ, you can go to the swamp.

Dignity : appearance. Reliability. Build quality. Rich equipment.

disadvantages : security. Noise isolation. Price.

KIA Rio X-line, 2018

Impression. Engine 123 power - enough for my eyes. I drive by the rules. Works quietly. The suspension is upset. KIA Rio X-line in comparison with "Logan" is more lean, high-spirited, the suspension is stiff and not energy-intensive at all. Breaks through with a bang. The interior and options were very pleased. "Duster" was not even close in terms of equipment. Climate, heating, good sound. The plastic does not creak, nothing makes noise inside, everything is as it should be. The glove compartment is small, but, well, okay. There are enough pockets. There is a lot of space in the front, of course, in the back. There was more at Logan. Exterior - well, here for an amateur. I like it a lot. And especially the white color. The box is normal. Smooth shifting, adequate gears, 6 steps. At a speed of 170 km / h, revs in the region of 4000. Pleased. Shumka, well, probably mediocre. Although I'm not fussy, I honestly don't care. I haven't eaten anything sweeter than carrots. Exploitation. There is not much to say here. Consumption is kept at 8.4 liters, mixed cycle, operation is mainly urban. Once every two weeks, a trip to a neighboring town is 150 km in both directions. I pour gasoline 92. Recently we drove Yekaterinburg-Kazan 1000 km one way. The seats are very comfortable, the back is not tired at all. Cruising speed 130 km. The car is very comfortable, holds the road well, confidently overtakes. Off-road qualities (this is a cross hatchback, raised, all the cases) was checked very simply. When parking at the curb, I decided, keeping in mind the solid ground clearance, to reach it with wheels. As a result, he tore off his front trim. Since then I have been driving like a mere mortal on clean and level roads. Bottom line. In my opinion, a great car in terms of price / quality ratio. Everything is done soundly, efficiently. Of course, 920,000 rubles is still very expensive for the KIA Rio X-line. The red price is 600,000. But you can't buy anything better now. Is that a sedan to take some, but his soul does not lie. Well, Vesta Cross. But I don’t trust. I want, though small, but a shed on wheels. And slightly raised. Ideal for a young family with 2 children. In short, a normal budget car for a simple hard worker. That's all.

Dignity : reliability. Controllability. Appearance.

disadvantages : fuel consumption. Suspension.
