Electric luggage compartment lock. Trunk opening electric drive - you can't forbid living beautifully

Most domestic cars use a mechanical luggage compartment drive, that is, in order to open the luggage compartment, the lock must be opened by hand. A device such as the electric luggage compartment is a unit that allows the luggage compartment to be opened at the push of a button. Read more about the principle of operation of the device and how to install it on your car below.

The principle of operation of the mechanism for opening and closing the trunk

How does the power tailgate lift work? The electric drive of the trunk lock should be opened by pressing the corresponding button by unscrewing, thus increasing the tractive effort and transmitting it to the rod. When voltage is applied to the assembly, the system relay automatically pushes the stem away, which assists in opening the door. It must be borne in mind that the electric tailgate cannot work for a long time under load, as it can break down due to overheating.

Electric drive device

The electric luggage compartment or motor lock consists of the following elements:

  1. Directly the electric motor itself.
  2. Two four-pole relays.
  3. Hood end switch or trunk end switch. The hood end switch is used if the drive is installed on the hood. The hood limit switch must be connected to the alarm.
  4. Push rod. It is designed directly to open the trunk from the alarm key fob or from the button.
  5. Safety element that protects the chain.
  6. Control button.

As you can see, the rear door electric drive is a rather complex device, so if you decide to install it in your car, then keep in mind that problems may arise in its operation. It should be noted that it makes no sense to install such devices in old VAZs, Tavria and Muscovites, since they are rather impractical in operation (video author - Konstantin Zaitsev).

Criteria for choosing an electric lock

When buying an electric boot lid, you need to seriously approach your choice. Our market offers buyers many different devices in different price categories, but it is better to exclude cheap options right away. Such a unit will not be able to work for a long time, because the low price, as a rule, is due to the same quality of production of the device. Therefore, immediately exclude the Chinese options - in this case, it is better to give preference to Russian or imported devices.

When purchasing a device, immediately consider how it will be controlled. For example, if it opens with a button, then you can purchase an ordinary device that can be installed with your own hands without any problems. But if you want the device to work from the alarm key fob, then it is recommended to take a more complex electrical device, and the connection procedure must be performed by a qualified electrician.

Today on sale you can find several models of devices, they are by type:

  1. Standard. These systems are equipped with side braces and are cheaper.
  2. Reinforced. Their cost is higher, but their quality is higher. In addition, such devices will be more reliable in terms of operation.

Experts recommend giving preference to devices with an inertial mechanism. Thanks to this, a lower load will be assigned to the electric motor, because when the rod hits an obstacle, it will simply turn off (video by Sergei).

Installation instructions for the electric drive

To install an electric trunk drive with your own hands and connect it, you will need a standard locksmith tool, as well as a connection diagram. The circuit must be included with the device.

Below is the installation of an electric trunk drive using the example of a Lada Kalina car:

  1. First, the installed lock, as well as the protective panel, is dismantled. The panel is fixed with plastic clips and hooks, as well as two screws. Next, unscrew the lock retainer, for this you can use a ratchet with a Phillips screwdriver attachment.
  2. Now the lock is being finalized, because you need it to be able to close with one click. To do this, cut off part of the hold, in the photo it is marked with a red line. The place of the cut must be processed with sandpaper or a file so that it is even and smooth.
  3. The next step will be to connect the circuit and preliminary assembly. We will not describe the connection procedure, since it differs depending on the drive model and the machine. During preliminary assembly, make sure that the polarity of the diode connection is observed. The diode itself must be properly soldered and insulated from the mass of the car.
  4. Further, the drive itself is installed - in this case, everything is individual. After installation, check where the plus and minus are, so you will learn how to properly connect the wiring. For example, ground can be connected to the left side of the heating.
  5. The next step will be to connect the resulting circuit to the standard wiring. Use the diagram that comes with the kit. All wiring must be carefully insulated, for this use electrical tape. To prevent the relays from dangling, they can be fixed on a hard surface with clerical tape.
  6. Then the button is mounted. In the case of Kalina, there are several options for installing the button, but we recommend connecting it to the cover of the mounting block - there is another button on it that controls the power of the car radio, which means that a mass is connected to it. To connect, again, you need to use the circuit.
  7. When everything is connected, it remains only to check the performance of the installed device. If everything works fine, then you can proceed with the assembly, which is carried out in the reverse order.

Video "System operation in a Kia Optima car"

Description of the operation and connection of the system in the Kia Optima car in the video below (the author of the video is Evgeny Sokolov).

Hello. Well, finally we reached the trunk to open the trunk from the button. I just thought for a long time to realize this idea, but somehow there was not enough time. Everything is done just need just a little time. We will do it using the example of a VAZ 2107 car. So, what we need:

Activator
-Fuse block. (I will lead plus from the battery)
-Fuse
-Wire, took 7m with a margin,
-Button for opening the trunk of the VAZ 2110,
- Terminals "Mom"
-5 contact relay (4 is possible, later I will explain why I took exactly 5)
-Well, you will also need electrical tape or heat shrink tubing

I explain why I took a 5-pin relay, everything is simple, because I opened the alarm book, namely the connection diagram and it described how to connect a relay of this type, so I decided to take it so as not to look for connection diagrams on the Internet.

Here is my wiring diagram:

I will say that this circuit is assembled to pull in the activator, it can be done to push it out, just swap the blue and green wires
Elements of the scheme:

Trunk opening button, VAZ 2110, 3-wire

5 pin relay, 75.3777

After leisurely work, the wiring is all ready, I took it with a margin)

Let's start, the installation process is pretty quick, you can easily manage it in a day)

I decided to put the relay under the hood so as not to pull the positive wire too far, and I also need to look for a place under the panel for the relay :)

Through the main hole of all the wires I push two wires, namely the wire to the button, to open the trunk, and the second directly to the activator itself, the positive wire:

I placed the relay in such a place, attached a washer barrel to the mount:

I decided to make a terminal conscientiously, so it was decided to buy a terminal for plus:

I hid the wiring in the cabin under the carpet, you say, it runs next to the standard wiring, at the same time I ran the wires under the rear speakers so as not to disassemble 10 times:

Double wires are music, and the red one is our plus for the activator. Everything is simple in the trunk, we carry it out together with the standard wires:

A decent amount of wires has already been assembled, it is worth stopping at this place. Unfortunately, I did not find the "mom" terminal as on the activator, so I decided to do so for now, then I will find the terminal and redo it:

The activator is made to retract. And on the minus, I cut off the terminal and made another:

Now about the location of the button. I didn't think for long and chose a place to the left of the seat, close at hand and not striking.

Installation is too simple, I drilled a hole, put on the terminals and inserted, minus hook up right there, on the lining bolt. We also wire the wires under the carpet.

And now the most difficult part, for me it turned out this way, it was the relationship between the activator and the lock that slowed down my work, because for a long time I could not drill the lock, I don’t know about everything, but I spat on this business and had to work on the collective farm, because I don’t want to change native castle, figs knows what quality it will get, but here it is strong, red-hot.

Get to the point! He took off the lock, but attempts to drill ended unsuccessfully, so he decided to go the other way, drilled a hole in the side of the lock, and wrapped the tongue itself with a cable from the bike, everything is held tightly + the larva mechanism tightens more:

Far from always, even the best factory equipment of a car completely suits its owner, therefore many of them often strive to improve the functionality of their "iron horse", in particular, by installing additional equipment. In such cases, last but not least is the installation of an electric drive, used to facilitate the process of opening / closing car doors, luggage compartment lid or for control.

As a rule, owners of domestic classics (VAZ, Volga, etc.) or owners of old foreign cars, where the electric drive system was not provided by the manufacturer, resort to such improvements (in our country). However, since you and I live in the 21st century, there is nothing difficult in filling up the functional gaps in cars left by manufacturers on our own. Of course, when it comes to electrical equipment, then the issue of its installation should be approached with all seriousness and responsibility. In this article we will tell you what you may need to install the electric trunk drive, what knowledge you need to have before proceeding to the action, and finally, we will describe the stages of the installation process itself.

1. What do you need to install the electric drive on the trunk?

Before embarking on the implementation of any idea, you should think carefully about what you may need for this and, accordingly, prepare everything you need. In the case of an electric luggage compartment drive, first of all, you need to buy the mechanism itself. Nowadays, this is not a problem at all, because it can be found in almost any auto parts store. Often, all such electrical mechanisms, depending on the manufacturer or some minor design features, differ from each other, but the principle of operation remains the same for everyone.

For this reason, some car owners collect the necessary device at home, as they say "from improvised means," but for greater confidence in a positive end result, it is still better to purchase a ready-made mechanism. The kit usually includes: electric motor, wires, terminal, relay, fuse, button and the corresponding instructions for their operation and connection. Also, it is important that a warranty card is attached to the device, thanks to which you can protect yourself from unnecessary problems in the event of buying a low-quality product with a limited service life.

In addition, for installation work, you will need a standard set of tools, including pliers, screwdrivers, a drill with a carbide drill, and a screwdriver. Also, it will not be superfluous to stock up on a multimeter that will help check the voltage in the network and save you from future unnecessary problems associated with a short circuit against a high voltage background. In addition to these elements, you should immediately buy additional wires, since it is quite possible that the lengths of those included in the purchased set may not be enough. For their fastening and fixing the sheathing (it is quite often fixed with disposable elements) corrugated tubes, clips and heat-resistant insulating tape, preferably black (less noticeable), will be useful to you.

These are the main tools and materials that are most often used in the installation of an electric trunk drive, however, depending on the car model and the wishes of its owner, this list can be slightly expanded.

2. What do you need to know before installing the electric trunk drive?

The electric drive of the luggage compartment lid is presented in the form of a mechanism consisting of several interconnected parts: an electric motor, two 4 - contact relays, a push rod, a fuse and a button. There are two types of actuators that activate the stem to open the tailgate.The most famous is a mechanism equipped with an electric motor, since it is he who is quite practical and durable. The drive, the principle of operation of which is based on the use of magnetic plates, has become somewhat less widespread. Its device is extremely complex, which, accordingly, affects the quality of work - many problems arise during operation.

The principle of operation of such mechanisms is based on the interaction of the relay with magnetic plates and goes in the following direction: when the power supply begins to flow, the relay pulls back the rod and the luggage compartment lid opens. Electromagnetic door drives (including the luggage compartment) are not recommended to be installed on old VAZ models, because they are not at all practical to use. In principle, installation can be performed, but this will require a major modernization of the trunk lock, which in most cases is simply irrational and problematic (significant changes to the car body are required).

When buying a luggage compartment lock, decide for yourself for what purpose it will be used: if only to open the door using the interior button, then you can take the standard model, with the self-installation of which there should be no problems. If you want to control its operation using an alarm panel, you will have to purchase a more complex electrical mechanism, and it is better to entrust its connection to an experienced electrician.

In the domestic market, you can find several models of electric locks, which, depending on the type, are divided into standard (have side fastening) and reinforced - they are somewhat more expensive, but the quality of performance and reliability of use in them is much higher. When buying an electric drive for the tailgate, pay attention to the kit with an inertial mechanism. It protects the engine from constant load, and if the rod runs into an obstacle, the mechanism is immediately turned off.

The peculiarities of the working principle of such devices are that when the button is pressed, the mechanism first spins up, thereby increasing its own tractive effort, after which it transfers it to the pushing rod. A drive with a standard (conventional) type of motor, in a similar situation, continues its work, constantly being under increased load, which ultimately leads to its rapid breakdown.

The question of choosing an electric drive for the luggage compartment should be taken seriously, since by buying a cheap fake (and they are very often found on the market), no one can guarantee the durability and quality of such a device. The best option would be to give your preference to products from a trusted domestic or imported manufacturer, especially if a warranty card is attached to it. Note! Installing an electric drive on a car increases the cost of the vehicle itself, and if in the future you decide to sell it, then the decision made today on such an addition will only be a plus.

3. Do-it-yourself electric trunk installation

There is probably no car owner who would not want to increase the comfort of using his car. The installation of an electric luggage compartment drive corresponds to this desire, since using the device it will no longer be necessary to get out of the car to check if you forgot to slam the luggage compartment lid, and the problem of keys forgotten inside disappears by itself. To open or close the luggage compartment, simply press a button in the cabin or use the alarm remote control. In the latter case, it is especially convenient if your hands are busy with items that need to be placed in the trunk. For those who would like to have the described capabilities, but the standard design of their cars let us down in this regard, we will now tell you how you can independently install the electric drive of the luggage compartment lid.

This procedure includes several stages:

The process of choosing the necessary components already described above: a set of an electric drive and additional parts for its installation, the quality of which directly affects the operational reliability of the entire system;

Direct installation stage (described below);

The electrical part of the installation. Most often, when installing on domestic cars, the connection is made using a button that breaks the "plus" coming from the mounting block. True, there is another way, in which the task of controlling the supply of voltage is assigned to the relay, which is turned on by pressing a button or using the security system.

A large number of car enthusiasts who prefer to independently tune their car face problems when going through the stage that involves connecting the electrics. Which, in fact, is not at all surprising, because, as a rule, everyone can simply fasten the locks and strips, but only a properly connected electrician can ensure the operability of the entire system, with which many owners have problems. The best way to solve them is to ask for help from knowledgeable people, but if for some reason this does not work, then you can try to make an independent connection, guided by the recommendations below and the connection diagram that should be included in the electric drive kit.

And so, the first and most important condition is to remove the battery during operation.All subsequent actions depend on the design of the selected device and the type of its connection. For example, a proper wiring diagram is required for the correct and efficient installation of remote-controlled locks. Often, manufacturers of electric drive mechanisms put it in the instruction manual for its operation, but if you could not find it there, then you can try using another proven option and ask your friends how they solved this problem, of course, if any.

Usually, first of all, the electric drive is fixed on the trunk lid and its mechanical connection with the lock itself is provided. To achieve this result, you will have to make two small cuts on the lock, and bend the resulting free part. Performing these actions allows you to gain access to that part of the lock, touching which will cause the trunk to open. Now you need to get a long metal stick out of the kit and fix it so that the lock can be closed freely during operation. It is possible that the excess parts of the pin (sticks) will have to be cut off.

Performing such simple manipulations, you install the device and all that remains is to connect an electrician. In most vehicles, power comes from a positive voltage of 12 V, but if in this regard there are doubts about a particular car, then it is better to first clarify this point, and only then follow the recommendations described below.

One of the most important conditions for a positive result is the correct placement of the wiring, because it is on its proper operation that the functioning of the vehicle systems as a whole will depend. At best, something will simply not work properly, and at worst, a short circuit may occur, after which it is not always possible to restore the electrical and electronics of the car, not to mention the cost of such attempts.

It is worth laying the wiring in those places where standard wires already pass, and in especially difficult areas, for example, when pulling the wire from the passenger compartment into the luggage compartment, it is necessary to use protective corrugated tubes.

Further, in accordance with the selected scheme, all the elements in the trunk are connected, after which the wires are pulled to the driver's door. It all depends on the model of the vehicle: it is easier for someone to stretch the wires from below, through the door sills, and for someone it is more convenient to use protective strips and pave the way from above. By and large, this is not important, the main thing is not to forget to immediately fix the wires with clamps. If the length of the wire included in the kit is not enough, take the additionally purchased one. The joint must be soldered with a soldering iron and rewound with tape.

Go ahead. We take the negative wire and connect it to the electric drive, the second one of the same ("negative") is connected to the main control relay, and the third (last) is connected to the alarm: find the control unit, usually it is located under the dashboard, and use the existing in free contacts. Check them, find the negative one and make the connection. This is the last thing to do.

Then put the battery back in place and check the system for operation. Sometimes, in order to close the trunk, the lock lacks traction. Usually, to eliminate such a problem, it is enough to install an additional spring in the lock. Well, that seems to be all, although in theory everything is always simple, but in practice there are often inaccuracies, and if you managed to cope with them on your own, we will be grateful for the additional information presented in the comments.

Car owners are accustomed to the constant comfort and ease of use of the Iron Horse devices. Indeed, it is very convenient when the devices are triggered at the touch of a button, without any further effort. An example of such a device is an electric drive that drives the trunk lid.

Luxury or necessity?

Automatic opening of the trunk of a car is a function to which most motorists who have moved to new cars are just beginning to get used to it. When you press a button in the passenger compartment, an electric drive is triggered, which activates the lock, as a result of which the trunk lid opens.

It would seem a trifle, but in the cold season, the electric drive greatly simplifies the life of car owners... In models with a conventional mechanical lock, many often encountered a problem when, after washing the car, the lock freezes and cannot be opened. Someone is watering, someone is simply heating the key, in a word, everyone invents what they can. This will not happen with an electric drive.

The electric drive is compatible with a standard lock, and you can use two ways at the same time when opening the boot lid, increasing burglary resistance. The device is installed mainly on imported cars. In the assembly of domestic cars, an electric drive in the trunk appeared quite recently. Car owners who lack this convenience can easily install such a mechanism.

Electric drive device - we understand the details

The electric trunk drive is a mechanism consisting of only a few parts: an electric motor, two 4-pin relays, a push rod, a fuse and a button. There are two types of actuators that drive the stem to open. The more famous is the mechanism with an electric motor, it is more practical and durable. A less common drive is magnetic platter.

The device of such a drive is extremely complex, and there are also many problems in its use. The principle of its operation is the interaction of the relay with magnetic plates. When electric power is applied, the relay pulls back the rod, at this moment the trunk lid is opened. It is not recommended to install such a device on VAZ cars of old production models, because it is not practical to use. The modernization that needs to be done with the trunk lock is very difficult and in some cases not rational, since it requires significant changes in the car body itself.

The selection of an electric boot lid lock should be taken seriously. No need to buy cheap Chinese locks, which are so common in our market. Such an electric drive will not serve you for a long time, and in the process of operation, incorrect operation is possible. It is best to choose an electric lock from a domestic or foreign manufacturer. By the way, the installation of such a device also increases the cost of the car as a whole, which is important if you intend to sell a car in the future.

Features of choice - what does the driver need to know about?

When buying a lock, it is worth considering exactly how it will be controlled. If it will only serve to open it with a button from the passenger compartment, then the standard one will do - you just need to install it yourself. In order for the electric lock to work from the alarm panel, a more complex electrical mechanism is needed, the connection of which should only be entrusted to an experienced electrician.

Several models of electric locks are sold on the domestic market. By their type, they are standard with side mounts and reinforced (a little more expensive) - they are made of better quality, and are more reliable in use. When purchasing an electric drive cover, it is best to choose a set with an inertia mechanism. Such a mechanism does not allow the engine to experience a constant load - if its rod rests against something, it turns off.

The principle of operation of the inertial mechanism is that such a mechanism, when the button is pressed, first spins up, increasing its tractive effort, and transfers it further to the pushing rod. A drive with a conventional type of engine at this time continues to work further, being under load - it can quickly fail from overheating.

Installing an electric drive - remember and reproduce!

To install the electric rack drive, you will also need fuse mounts, terminals, 1mm electrical wires, electrical tape and a set of tools. Prepare all of these materials ahead of time to avoid distractions during the installation process. First, remove the plastic boot lining; this must be done carefully so as not to damage it. It is mounted on several bolts and plastic latches. Next, remove your lock, you need to bend one tooth in it, so that when opened it works with one click.

When selling an electric drive, some car dealerships also recommend buying a lock that does not need to be modified - such an offer is quite reasonable and will save you a lot of time. After manipulating the lock, proceed with the wiring. Before carrying out work on the wiring, it is necessary to remove the terminals from. Take power from the car's cigarette lighter as this is the least involved and doesn't consume much load.

To do this, disassemble the central shaft. Install a protective fuse between the cigarette lighter and the electric drive button. This should be done in a convenient place - in case of failure, it will be easy to replace. You can install the trunk release button wherever you like. Further, according to the scheme that comes with the electric drive, use the electrical blocks to make the power harness. The best way to do the routing and wiring for the electric lock is on the sills of the car. The length of the cable that you need is 3.5 meters, cut off the excess.

After that, you can proceed to the final stage of mounting the trunk lid electric drive mechanism. There are several ways to install the drive, the best option for us is the one in which you do not need to drill additional holes in the rack mount. If in your case you need to make several holes, then choose a more convenient place. Take a mounting plate and screw it in an easily accessible place and place the drive on it. Installation of the drive rail must be done taking into account the length of the mechanism stem.

It is best to do the installation parallel to the main pull of the lock. Next, bite off the extra piece of the stem, having previously put it in its initial position on the electric drive.

Then proceed to connect the wires to the drive. It is especially important at this stage to observe the polarity of the power supply. To do this, connect the wires according to the instructions for the diagram. If connected incorrectly, the mechanism motor will run in the opposite direction and your lock will not open. Install a fuse in front of the electric drive lock, this will protect you from damage to the mechanism. Carefully rewind all electrical wiring connections with insulating tape or use a special heat shrink.

After that, put the terminals on the battery and check the performance of your mechanism as a whole. There are times when it is necessary to more accurately set the electric drive mechanism, for this, adjust its stem. If everything is fine, and your trunk lid opens and closes, then complete the wiring to the end. When reassembling the plastic trunk lid, if possible, stick a noise reduction piece on it, this will save you from the noise that occurs during the operation of the electric trunk drive.

Probably, anyone has come across a situation when you come from the store to the car, and your hands are busy with shopping bags. And the whole adventure begins: you need to put the bags on the floor, get the keys from your pocket, open the trunk with these keys, move the bags, close it, open the car door and only then get behind the wheel. It is especially pleasant to do this procedure in a pouring rain or snowstorm. And those who, before all the manipulations, also need to disarm the car.

But it is not without reason that all electronic motor vehicles have a terribly useful and convenient function called "remote trunk unlocking". Of course, those lucky ones are lucky who have it installed from the factory or put it in a car repair shop by a kind uncle, an auto electrician. But what about those who have an alarm key fob and the opening function does not work? So jumping from door to trunk? There is absolutely no need to do this, you can install it yourself, because this is not such a complicated procedure. Installation even for a beginner will take only a few hours.

Selecting the lock drive

One has only to walk around the market or shop for auto parts, or visit car services specializing in auto electricians, instantly a thousand and one proposals will be received to purchase an electric drive to lock the trunk lid. You should carefully approach the issue of choosing this part, since it depends on its quality how long you can use the very useful option for opening the trunk.

Do not listen to the advice of sellers and managers regarding the fact that "this particular superdrive with a cost of three zeros will work as it should, and ordinary door solenoids are not powerful enough for the tailgate." We must not forget that the trunk is opened with the same key as the car doors, and the efforts to open it are the same, but, judging by the advice, a small crowbar "for opening the trunk" should be reported from the factory to the set of keys.

The door solenoid copes with the function of opening the lock with a bang, the main thing, as they say, is not to skimp on quality. That is, you should not take something Chinese and incomprehensible for a penny, there are good domestic drives, their cost is several hundred rubles, and the power exceeds foreign counterparts. And the most surprising thing is that they work quite quietly.

How does the electric trunk lock work?

The solenoid is powered by the vehicle's on-board voltage of 12 volts DC. When a voltage is applied to it for a short time, it, depending on the polarity of the current, either pushes the bar forward or pushes it in. The travel distance is about two centimeters.

In cars, a metal bar also passes from to the locking device itself, which moves back and forth when the key is turned in the lock. It is with her that the solenoid is connected with the help of a special clamp and with its movements imitates the turn of the key in the larva.

Connection procedure

To install you will need:

  • trunk opening button;
  • five meters of copper two-core wire with a cross section of at least 1 mm 2;
  • power relay;
  • electric drive for opening and closing the trunk - the solenoid itself;
  • kilometer of electrical tape;
  • knowledge in physics at the school level;
  • see this instruction on how to make an electric trunk drive.

Although if the hands are really straight, you can take less tape.

It should be noted that it is better to take a power relay, which briefly closes the contact when it is turned on, since a prolonged (more than 2-3 seconds) supply of voltage to the solenoid will lead to the fact that it will simply burn out. If there is only a relay available, which simply closes the contacts, it should be remembered that you need to press the button for a short time, a 0.6 second pulse is enough to open the lock.

If the car does not have a burglar alarm, then you need to route the wire from the fuse box to the place where the trunk release button will be installed. The negative wire is connected to the power relay and then goes to the solenoid. The +12 volt voltage is connected through the button to the relay and in parallel to the input of the power switch. The output from the relay is connected to the second contact of the solenoid. It turns out that when you press the button, the relay turns on, the contact in it closes and the plus goes to the drive, and since the minus is constantly there, the solenoid drive comes in motion and the trunk opens.

Thus, when a button is pressed in the passenger compartment, the trunk opens, however, there is practically little use for this, because it cannot be opened remotely, since there is no key fob. But there are also such options.

If it is also present, then you should do the same as described above. The difference is that some alarm systems only supply a negative charge through the lock control wire, and you have to swap the wires in the relay-button circuit. The wire itself from the alarm unit must be connected through a diode to the wire going from the button to the relay.

The diode is needed so that when the open button is pressed, the voltage does not flow back to the alarm unit, otherwise it may burn out. Most of the blocks have a protective diode inside, but it's better to be safe and put another one.

If the signaling unit has a positive charge, then you just need to connect it through a diode to the wire that goes to the relay from the button.

An important point: in the car alarm settings there are two modes of drive types - electric and pneumatic. You need to specify an electric one, since with these settings a short impulse will be given to unlock the lock.
