This is where the pros end, the cons of such wheels are much more. Their main drawback is that they are equally functional both in summer and in winter, losing to seasonal products in many parameters. Most of these tires are not recommended for high speed driving, and flotation performance in different conditions suffers.

All-seasons wear out quickly, buying a new set every two years is a standard practice. Summer and winter sets can last 3-4 years, and with measured movement even longer.

In the conditions of severe winters and ice, driving on such wheels is unsafe, and the risk of getting into an accident increases.

With the advent of wheel tires, cars were able to confidently move on the road surface. If these useful and practical products were absent to this day, then the movement would be characterized by a slow and noisy process, like prehistoric carts, winter tires are especially needed at a certain period.

A modern pneumatic tire has the following features:

Currently, these conditions are met by radial tires, which provide:

  • a very long period of confident operation;
  • enviable stability of the car on the roadway;
  • promoting fuel economy.

The positive aspects of radial tires are achieved by the presence of metal cords and / or their textile counterparts in the construction. These elements are located inside the rubber shell of the tire for Lada Largus between the beads and are oriented radially at right angles to the rim.

Standard tire parameters

To complete the Largus, the manufacturer uses tires manufactured by Amtel Planet DC. It is a domestic firm owned by the Amtel-Vredestein N.V. corporation.

Important! For the Largus Cross variant, the manufacturer uses Continental Premium Contact tires, which are made by the legendary Continental A.G. brand.

The factory manual contains information regarding tire dimensions that are structurally suitable for a particular car model. Here Largus is an exception, since the manufacturer in the accompanying documentation indicated only the only option for the size of the rubber, and discs like them.

So, we give the parameters of the indicated disks:

  • product width indicator - "6J";
  • hub bolt pattern - "4x100";
  • sidewall overhang - "ET50".

The only option for the tire dimensions, which the manufacturer recommends to equip various modifications of LADA Largus, is only "185 * 65 * R15". This dimension also appears in the documentation attached to the related model Dacia Logan MCV (2006).

Other sizes

Some desperate owners seek to experiment in this area and install tires with different characteristics on their station wagons. Often people are prompted to such an action by the desire to distinguish their "horse" from the gray mass of the same type of car.

Installing large specimens should be approached with extreme caution. Such "rollers" can lead to an unpredictable change in the behavior of a car on the road. This is especially clear in unfavorable weather.

It should not be disregarded the fact that the increased size of discs with tires can cause incorrect operation of the following systems responsible for active safety:

  • "ABS" - a system to prevent blocking of brake mechanisms;

Off-road version

In this modification, the Lada Largus station wagon is equipped with tires, the dimensions of which are "205x55xR16". They are "put on" discs with the following parameters:

  • departure - "ET50";
  • centering hole - "D1A60.1.".
