10. Insert a new stud into the hole in the hub.
11. Press in the pin up to the stop of its head into the hub flange, screwing it onto the pin wheel nut through a suitable bushing.
It is convenient to use a large diameter nut as a sleeve. The assembly of the brake mechanism Hyundai Solaris is carried out in the reverse order. Hyundai Solaris wheel stud replacement
You will need a ball joint pin puller.
1. Brake the car parking brake and install chocks ("shoes") under the front wheels.
2. Raise the rear of the vehicle, place it securely on its supports, and remove the wheel.

4. Install the puller and press the pin out of the hub bore.

We will not tell our long story about how the hairpin broke and how we had to go to the store slowly and carefully. We found a new part in nearest car store, also in the markets it is probably cheaper. Let's move on to the operation itself.
1. First of all, you need to have on hand a set of standard tools and a jack. We block the wheels and raise the part where it is necessary to change the hairpin.
2. Unscrew the wheel, in our case the picture was unpleasant, you will see in the photo just above.
3. Now we proceed to dismantle the caliper. The operation is not difficult at all, you can see it with us. From the back you will find two fastening bolts, after which we broadcast the caliper to the spring, so as not to stretch and / or deform the hoses. 
4. In order to dismantle brake disk with Hyundai Solaris, you just need to unscrew the two bolts that are immediately visible between the studs. Sometimes, the disc sticks, so it is difficult to give in. In such a situation, only one comes out: to tap with back side until he comes out himself. 
5. Now stands new problem before us: we need to solve something with a protective casing, since it interferes with pulling out the hairpin. On all forums, they write that it is easy to bend it back, but in our case, it began to deform strongly during such an operation. It was decided to make a small incision, which made it possible, as it were, to bend it in two parts. 
6. Knock out the broken hairpin with a hammer and drive in a new one. It was very difficult for us to enter it, they even smeared it with grease and worked well with a hammer, before completely inserting the stud. 
7. It remains to return the casing to its original position, of course, you will not bring it back to its original state, but this is better than completely deforming it or cutting out pieces altogether.
That's all, in a couple of hours you can easily manage it slowly and calmly.
