By purchasing new car, right before the New Year, the owner of the new foreign car immediately made the right decision - to install "some kind of protection on the car from hooligans." After a detailed conversation with the owner of the car, we were able to convince the owner that it is necessary to put on this car, albeit not very expensive, but an effective security complex.
Here's what was suggested: Security system (made in Russia, 3 years warranty) with anti-robbery tag, wireless blocking relay and telephone notification. , with a locking mechanism under the hood. The locks are controlled by a wireless engine blocking relay, which is protected by the bonnet lock in engine compartment only if there is a label. It was also offered, which the client refused. Having installed this protective complex, the owner calmly went to celebrate the New Year.

On January 10, 2017, at 5.20 a.m., a mobile phone woke up the owner of a brand new Toyota and a pleasant female voice of the Pandora security system announced that the security zone was activated - the brake pedal, and the car engine was started. It is difficult to imagine what the owner experienced at that second, jumping into his pants and boots on the go. Overtaking the elevator, he raced down the spans from the top floor of his high-rise building, cursing the day when he decided to buy himself an apartment on the 10th floor. Jumping out of the entrance, he felt a frosty and prickly wind hit his face ... For a second he stopped, the cold sobered him and at that moment an afterthought flashed - it was necessary at least to take a hockey stick ... But discarding this thought, he jerked again forward, I have to run another 30 meters and there, around the corner, is my swallow. Jumping out from around the corner, he was already mentally ready for any development of the situation. My heart was pounding madly, ready to break out, another jerk and here she is a beauty, standing in the place where she left it. Light snow slowly descended on the deserted street and the beloved Toyota Camry. A slight weakness appeared in the legs and a sweetish taste in the mouth - "Uh", I could only breathe out. "On the spot, false alarm, damn signal" - thoughts frantically flew one after another. There was a feeling of relaxation and complete calmness: "Okay, everything is fine, everything worked out, I have to go to bed." Realizing that he would hardly be able to fall asleep, he decided to stand for a couple of minutes in the fresh air near the car. The cold treacherously crawled under the jacket and pants, thrown in a hurry over the naked body, forcing one to think about a warm bed and a hot cup of tea. "Everything, it's time to go home, there is nothing to stand here - the car is still covered with a layer of snow, everything is fine." Shivering from the cold and already turning towards the house, I suddenly caught a thought that flashed at the last second and froze, from the realization that I saw, there were clear, deep traces in the fresh snow near the car. A slight tremor ran through my body with a premonition of something bad. He began to slowly go around the car in a circle and stopped, reaching the right front window. A slight groan of despair sounded in the morning snowy haze in the parking lot - the right glass of the car was shattered. Approaching the broken window, he looked inside and slowly squatted down: the entire interior was covered with fragments of broken glass, the glove compartment was torn out, some blocks were hanging on the wires. All the same, the alarm was not false - they just tried to hijack it !!!
Then everything was like in a dream: calling the police, drawing up a protocol, a trip to the investigator, a tow truck, service.

P.S. While the documents were being drawn up, a second call came alongside. Theft of a 2016 Toyota Camry in a nearby yard. The car left at 5.40 am. Like this: either they tried to "take" two cars at the same time, or they stole the second one, breaking off the teeth on the first one.

How did the theft process take place?
The glass of the car was carefully knocked out (3-5 seconds), but not with a hammer, but with a special core-pushed softly, the glass burst and crumbled. No shock sensor will work. Then, without opening the doors! (So that the alarm would not go off) we climbed into the car (5-7 seconds). Having removed the glove compartment (20-30 seconds), we got to the "Computer assy, ​​smart key" - this is the block in which the regular keys are registered. Having connected the device for registering keys to it, they took information about the standard keys and made a copy of the original key (2-4 minutes). We moved to the driver's seat: pressed the brake pedal and started the engine (remember the words of client-5.20 when the alarm was triggered). It remains to turn on the "D" and go. Here the hijackers were in for a surprise. The selector turned out to be blocked under the hood and they could not turn on the "speed", but turned on the alarm and notification mode. The hijackers clearly followed the owner and saw that the unsetting was done with a standard key and were sure: at startup, the system will recognize its key and turn off the alarm. This did not happen because in the system settings, an experienced installer turned on the function: prohibiting disarming with a standard key in the absence of a tag (which the client did not want) from the car alarm. The car could not even be towed away - the automatic transmission is blocked.

Bottom line: it takes about 5 minutes to steal such a car. I think it's not the best option to run after investigators and insurance companies for several months while waiting for compensation.
If the car is on hull insurance, it is better to receive compensation for repairs, this is much faster.

As it later turned out in our Laboratory, due to a failure, the digital blocking simply refused! Those. the line of strengthening the protection of the standard system did not work.

This was followed by an attempt to bypass standard immobilizer with an attempt to start the engine, which led to the start of a cycle of alarm modes. Then the attacker tried to open the door from the inside to try to work with the wiring security complex however, the door bollards did not allow the door to be opened. Realizing the dubious prospects of further theft, the attacker left the car through the broken glass.

The attempt to steal once again shows the high efficiency of the multi-circuit Kondrashov Complex, even when one of the protection circuits is disabled (not activated or out of order). Further protection circuits remained reliably to prevent theft and were not deactivated.

In addition, do not forget about the annual free maintenance of the complex, during which not only the prevention of electromechanical locks takes place, but also the entire functionality of the security complex is tested to simulate a hijacking attempt.
