How car dealerships cheat us. How official dealers cheat

How not to become a victim when buying a car in a trade in salon. A private expert will talk about the most common cases of cheating.

I continue my series of articles about deception in car dealerships. Earlier I wrote and told.

Here I will repeat that there will be no high-profile revelations with the names and names of organizations, and what I write is solely my opinion, but I consider it my direct duty to tell you the deception system.

So you've decided to buy a car. There is absolutely no desire to ride the metro all day long and look at the options for buying a car from private sellers. You make a convenient and seemingly correct decision: go to a private trade-in car dealership, where several dozen or even hundreds of cars are exhibited at one site.

To make my story interesting, as always, a case from my personal practice. This car was not sold by me, but by my colleague, so my soul is calm and pure, but such cases occur every day, several times a day.

So, the client turned in a Land Rover of a fairly fresh model year to our showroom. The price for it for the seller was dropped to a ridiculous amount, for disassembly they would have given more for it. And the thing is that the engine this car demanded overhaul and mercilessly smoked, the roof and doors of the car were painted. In general, the classic "shape-shifter" and even with a dead engine.

Land Rover was driven into the workshop and a command was sent to bring him into a divine form. Since we (the managers) had nothing to do with the workshop at all, we did not even go there, it is not fully known what we did with this car.

Just a few days later, this SUV stood on the site, started well and did not smoke. The salon got used to dry cleaning, and the body was polished. The mileage miraculously became 47,000 km instead of 190,000 km. The price tag for the car was slightly below the market, so literally on the same day there were several calls on the ad.

One client offered to post a bail for him by bank transfer, and he himself promised to fly from a distant northern city next week.

Car dealership customers from the region! How the managers love them and how many of them were deceived have dispersed to the cities and villages of our country ... Judge for yourself. A person arrives (arrives / sails) from another city for a car, with money. Here he has no one, there is no place to stay, the city is vain and alien. Such people buy a car almost without looking, because it beckons him with washed sides and blackened rubber, and they really want to go home quickly.

The client arrived and asked where to carry the money. The manager almost silently took him to the cashier and filled out the documents. The client's only question was when the Land Rover sneezed when starting the engine and still gave out a cloud of gray smoke. The manager was not taken aback and said something like "what do you want, it's a diesel, and it stood for a long time, waiting for you"! The client smiled and happily left for his northern city.

By the way, this time the management decided to refrain from their favorite practice of increasing prices. I really wanted to get rid of the car as soon as possible and earn half a million. The scheme is simple: the moment you deposit money in the cashier, you are announced that the price of the car has increased by 18%, which is the amount of VAT. Upon your fair refusal to purchase, you are shown the vehicle title with your data and the contract you signed, in which all this is spelled out in small print. As a last resort, if the buyer makes a very loud noise and threatens with all punishments, this amount is reduced to 10,000 rubles as a "fee for paperwork."

Still want to buy a car from a private trade in car dealership? It is possible that there are honest car dealerships where managers sell honest cars at a fair price, but I have not yet come across such.

In the salons of an authorized dealer, things are not much better. There is also a possibility that you can buy a more or less live car from them, but you need to look for it for a long time and with a professional approach.

Have you ever been lied to at a car dealership?

10 Tricks of the Car Dealership You Should Know About

For many of us, this process involves months of research and market analysis. According to the study, about 48% of people participate in the process of choosing and buying a car for an average of 1-3 months. 83% percent of people do online research on the Internet before buying a car. Unfortunately, the process of buying a car is not always happy. Search often correct car can be frustrating. And according to a study and poll of car enthusiasts, the biggest disappointment when buying a car comes from their sellers. Especially many of us are upset by car dealerships.

Selling is an art, a science, and even to some extent acting. The goal of the seller is to convince you that the product or service will definitely improve your quality of life, make your daily life easier, save you time or money, and provide you with a range of benefits that you cannot get elsewhere.

Unfortunately, private sellers, car dealership managers, etc. have gotten a bad reputation in recent years. And in principle, consumers are to blame for everything, who naively expect honest and decent people from car sellers who, as best friends are ready to sell us the best car in the world, making one of the best generous offers. But, unfortunately, we do not live in a fairy tale.

Understand, for example, most of the car dealership employees who are responsible for selling new cars are simple workers who just want to do a good job at their workplace in order to make decent money.

Naturally, in every area of \u200b\u200btrade, there have always been various tricks and tricks. This also applies to the sphere of sales of new cars. After all, a lot of money goes here and, accordingly, it is much more difficult to sell a car than, for example, a vacuum cleaner or furniture.

Many dealership managers are trained to encourage impulse buying, which often forces us to spend a little more than we originally planned.

We've learned many of the tricks that professional sellers use in car dealerships, listened to various experts and put together for you a short list of popular tricks that car sellers in the showroom use to get us to more than just buy new carbut also leave as much money as possible in the dealership.

1) Selling is a game with a potential buyer

Many car dealers use smart phrases to encourage us to buy a car. Instead of telling you the words, "Can I help you?" or "How can I help you?" the seller might say, "What kind of car are you looking to buy a sedan or SUV?" or "What class or type of car are you interested in?" Such phrases leave little choice for buyers to answer. The goal of the manager is one, so that you don't answer the usual phrase: "I'm just looking and I don't need any help now." The manager needs an initial contact with you in order for you to start trusting him. Then everything is much easier.

It is noteworthy that about half of people, when they come to a car dealership, do not know which model and even car brand they are going to buy. Especially when it comes to buying a used car.

Looking around at a car dealership, you might see a model that you like. In this case, you probably contact the manager so that he can tell you in more detail about the car that you have noticed.

In this case, get ready for the salon manager to start telling you all the most best sides a used car, describing the best options and functions, painting the car in its best light.

For example, you may be told: "This car had one owner, an elderly man who drove it only to the store and the clinic." Further, when you ask about the cost of a car, you will most likely hear an amount that ends in a few nines or not a full hundred: 599,998 or, for example, 550,000. This was done specifically by the car dealership. Such pricing on a subconscious level lowers the cost of the car in our head.

How can we resist the pressure of the manager in the car dealership and not get into their networks clever ways sales? First, if you are visiting a car dealership, never be afraid to say no to managers. If, when searching for a car in the salon, you do not want to be disturbed, you can politely and tactfully ask the seller to look around the salon without any help.

When you arrive at the salon, do not forget to take with you any device with which you can access the Internet. It will help you compare the cost of the cars in the showroom with other offers on the market.

Also, the Internet will help you check all the words of the manager. For example, oh technical characteristicssuch as fuel consumption, power, etc.

2) Play with the price

Often having heard from the manager in a car dealership the cost of a car that we are interested in, it can upset us. For example, if we cannot afford to buy a car at such a price. Naturally, managers are able to determine by our reaction whether we have the necessary amount to buy a car.

As a result, if the seller understands that we are not "pulling" the purchase, then the manager starts the second stage of sales - selling to.

As a result, the manager can, having calculated the monthly payment on the loan, tell us how much will have to be paid each month for the car when the loan agreement is drawn up. This amount, you know, will not be huge and we may mistakenly think that buying a car on credit is the best solution.

But in fact, in this way, the seller skillfully hid the real cost of the car from us. Believe me, good sellers can really make an inaccessible car available to us.

Therefore, remember that you should always know the final cost of the vehicle. Including when buying on credit (including all commissions and overpayments). This is necessary not only in order to understand what it costs you to buy a car in the end. First of all, you need it to compare the offer of the car dealership with other offers on the Internet.

Unfortunately, most dealers try to avoid showing you the real cost of a car when buying on credit, hiding commissions, interest and final overpayment from you as long as possible. Instead, managers are always focused on monthly payments, convincing you that this amount is comfortable for us.

If the managers see that you are probably ready to take out a car loan, then the next stage of car sales begins - the imposition of a car with various additional options and services that can significantly increase the final cost of the car.

But if you focused only on the monthly installment for a car loan, then various additional. car dealership options and services may not have a big impact on the monthly payment. As a result, you may not pay attention to it. That is why you should always know the total cost of the car, taking into account all commissions, overpayments and the cost of additional. options.

How can you protect yourself from such tricks of sellers? Of course best protection from this tactic of salon managers is preparation. Before going to a car dealership, you should always know how much you can afford to spend on buying a car, and also know the maximum possible monthly payment if you are going to apply for a car loan in the salon.

Knowing these numbers, you should always remember them when communicating with the manager and not go beyond them, so that you are not offered in the salon.

3) Car loan for a long time

Any loan is affordable if you can stretch your payments for a long time. But in this case, you end up throwing away too much extra money to pay interest on the loan.

But fortunately for the car dealers in the showroom, many people are financially illiterate. After all, it is easy to convince such people that buying a car on credit for a long time is an advantageous offer due to a small monthly payment.

Remember that as soon as the manager of the car dealership finds out how much you are willing to pay for the car every month, they can really bring even an expensive car under this amount, calculating a loan for it for a long time. In the end, in this way, they have the opportunity to sell you a car at an inflated price.

So we do not advise you to apply for a car loan for long periods. Especially for 5-6 years. It is not prudent and financially disadvantageous. Yes, with such a long period, your monthly payment will be extremely low. But over the years, you will overpay a huge amount on the loan. Plus, do not forget that any car is subject to loss of market value due to natural depreciation, the amount of which is likely to exceed the loan amount.

That is, by taking out a car loan, for example, for 5 years, your car will lose more in price than the entire loan amount will be.

As a result, it turns out that you will not only overpay a lot of money for the car, but also lose a huge amount due to the depreciation of the car.

4) Low estimate of the value of your car

It often happens that before buying a new car, we want to sell our old car dealer. For example, under the Trade-in program. In this case, the cost of your car will be included in the cost of the new car.

Naturally, everyone wants you to rent your car as cheaply as possible. Therefore, if you plan to sell your car to a car dealership, then get ready for the fact that when you inspect it, they will find fault with it with one goal - to knock down the price tag.

The job of the manager is to describe as many of the shortcomings of your car as possible.

Moreover, it may seem to you at such an inspection that most of the expert's nagging is justified. In this case, it may even seem to you that you are lucky that the dealer is ready to offer at least some amount.

Remember that the task of all car dealership employees is to make you spend as much money as possible. After all, any dealership is a business for the management of which the main thing is profit.

Therefore, you should not take criticism of your car seriously and immediately agree to the low cost of buying your car. It is possible that you will be able to sell your car yourself in a short time for much more. Also, another dealer may be willing to offer you more for the car. So the main thing is not to rush. After all, you will always have time to sell your car cheaply.

5) Be careful - too lucrative an offer can be fraught with pitfalls

You probably often see on TV or hear on the radio, as well as various advertising offers from car dealers. Many of these offers are very tempting and beneficial. But do not rush to believe the advertisements.

In most cases, you probably won't be able to buy a car for the price you see in the ad. So this is cheating? Yes and no. According to the law, most likely, everything will be fine on the part of the dealer.

This is pure marketing. For example, often the best deals in advertising are associated with the highest possible discount that the dealer offers at a given time. But in practice, most of us will not have access to the maximum discount, since in order to receive it, you need to fulfill a number of conditions.

For example, hand over a car under the recycling program, get a car loan for 5 years, get a Casco policy in the salon, etc. etc. So as you can see, the offer with the maximum discount may be limited for most.

So don't be in a hurry to rejoice when you see another advertisement for a car at an attractive price. Check the information by visiting a car dealership.

And be wise and don't give in to emotions in the salon. After all, impulsive people who are ruled by emotions are waiting there. After all, cunning advertising was created so that as many people as possible came to the salon through it. And then the evil deed will be done by professionals specially trained for aggressive sales.

6) Unnecessary additional options

If you have already picked up a certain car with a certain configuration for yourself, then do not be surprised if the dealership manager starts offering you more expensive vehicle configurations or impose different additional options or services.

For example, you may be asked to purchase an optional extended warranty package. Or you may be offered to buy more beautiful wheel disks... As a result, additional options or services can cost you several tens of thousands of rubles. For the seller, such deals will bring an additional bonus to the salary.

Sometimes, unscrupulous car dealerships can hide various additional services, including in their contract of sale of cars. The expectation is that you will not read the entire agreement and sign it. Therefore, before paying money to the cashier, always read carefully each line of the contract.

If, because of your attentiveness or ignorance, you nevertheless signed such a cunning agreement, then demand its termination. True, on your side. After all, in fact, you were deceived. Even despite the fact that you signed the contract, after not carefully reading it.

7) Inflated interest rates on car loans

Have you ever wondered why car dealership managers are trying to sell you a car on credit? Or have you thought about why when buying a car with a car loan in a car dealership, the dealer always offers the maximum discounts?

The thing is that in the case of a loan in the salon, the dealer will receive a reward from the bank. And not small.

In some car dealerships, when applying for a car loan, there may even be an overestimated loan rate compared to the average values \u200b\u200bin the lending market.

So, if you are planning to buy a car on credit, do not rush to issue it at the very first car dealership. First, we advise you to study the offers of several car dealerships. Then compare the lending rates of the car dealership with the offers of banks by contacting them directly.

In principle, getting a loan to buy a car from a bank will cost you less than applying for a targeted car loan in the showroom. So don't be in a hurry.

Remember that by taking out a car loan, you will overpay for the use of other people's money for a long time. And if the rate is exceeded by only a few percent for a long period of time, you can turn into a huge amount that you can save if you take out a loan at a bank.

8) The trick for a loan application at a car dealership

Your loan application will not always be considered in the salon on the same day. After all, an employee of a car dealership sends your application to various banks, which will check your credit history.

This delay is sometimes exploited by cunning managers.

Here's an example. Let's say you picked up a car for yourself, agreed with the manager, agreeing to all the conditions of the salon and to favorable interest rates on car loans. Then you drive home and wait for a call from the manager, who promised to call you as soon as the bank approves the car loan.

You are happy, waiting for the call, looking forward to the day or the hour when you finally get behind the wheel of your dreams.

But then a call is heard from the salon that the car you have chosen can only be bought at an inflated interest rate on the loan.

As a result, you are informed that the car that you have chosen can be bought only by making a large advance payment, or on a loan with a not very attractive rate.

At this point, many people agree to the proposals of managers not wanting to part with the car that has already been picked up and stuck in their dreams. Indeed, in fact, people have already imagined themselves driving a new car.

9) Hide car history

Unscrupulous car dealerships that sell used cars often resort to hiding the history of the cars being sold. For example, they often hide the fact that the car was involved in an accident. Naturally, you may not find this fact in the salon, since the car has undergone restoration and pre-sale preparation.

Therefore, never buy a car if you do not fully know its history.

You can check the car history on the Internet,. True, all of them do not guarantee you 100% information. Unfortunately, in our country there is no a single base vehicle history data. Therefore, when buying a used car, there is always a risk of buying a car with a bad history.

10) your emotions are your enemy

We change our old ones to newer ones or new ones for various reasons. Someone wants to get more newest technologiesusing the new features. Someone wants to buy more safe car... Someone decided to buy a larger car.

For some, changing a car is a status in society. For someone appearance machines play a more central role than practicality. In general, each of us has his own personal reason for changing an old car to a new one.

But, despite our tastes for most of us, the appearance of the car (design) plays one of the most important values. And car dealership managers know this very well.

For example, some enterprising managers use a mirror or large window to show your reflection as you drive in the vehicle. The seller will draw your attention to how stylish and fashionable you look at the wheel.

Also, during the inspection of the car in the salon, the manager will definitely pay attention to the functions of the car that are very important to you (before showing the car, he will naturally carefully find out from you what functions you want to see in the new car). Naturally, a good salesperson, knowing the features or options that are important to you, will auto-focus your attention on those options during the demonstration.

When buying a car, many of us, for complete safety, go to buy a car at a car dealership, since when buying a car at a car dealership, the buyer expects to arrange everything as quickly as possible, arrange everything honestly, without any delays, unfortunately, this does not always happen. Very often, a buyer falls for a deception in a car dealership when buying a car, and buying a car at a car dealership has recently become a problem for many buyers. With the current practice, deception in a car dealership has become a very common occurrence and deception in a car dealership has become a widespread phenomenon, regardless of the region and place of purchase. In many cases, when buying a car at a car dealership, the buyer gets not only a used car, he can also lose money, but also get a big loan when buying a car or get a stolen car, or a car with broken numbers.

Too cheap car in a car dealership

Very often, we see ads in newspapers, magazines, on the Internet, what is for sale nice car, at a price below market. When we contact a car dealership, the employee confirms the cost of the car at a low price by phone, explaining that this is a unique offer or last car... When a buyer arrives at a car dealership, looks at the car, signs all the documents, he discovers that the amount is not at all what it was originally, but much more. The manager of a car dealership or an employee of a car dealership begins to assure that they have added a complete set, wheels, alarm, etc. this scheme is very common when buying a car at a car dealership.

Also sometimes, the cost is increased after making an advance. And when the buyer wants to terminate the contract or return the advance, he is told that the advance is not refundable and take it at such a price and the buyer has to pay extra, or they say that the contract is not terminated and the goods are technically complex product and is non-refundable and you also have to pay extra. The difference in surcharges is sometimes very significant, sometimes several hundred thousand rubles. Many car dealerships use such schemes. It is also a very common scheme of deception in a car dealership when buying a car, when an advance is made, and the buyer finds out in the contract that the advance is not refundable and if the buyer does not pay in addition for several days, the money is not returned and the buyer is left without a car at all.

Cheating in a car dealership when buying a car on credit

A common scheme when deceiving buyers in a car dealership is when a buyer wants to buy a car at a car dealership on credit. Initially, the buyer is told that this is not a loan, but an installment plan and interest does not need to be paid, but after signing a loan agreement at a car dealership, the buyer discovers that the cost of the car, together with interest, is several times higher. Under this scheme of cheating in a car dealership, the buyer acquires cheap car the amount is several times the cost of the car itself.

Cheating in a car dealership when selling a used car

A common occurrence and frequent cheating scheme in a car dealership when selling a car is the sale of a used car. When a buyer purchases a used car at a dealership, he cannot determine the quality and condition of the car. But later he discovers that the car, or a shape-shifter, or after an accident. It can also be a used car, bought in a car dealership, with broken numbers or completely worn out parts (engine, suspension, chassis, body), the car can also be repainted. It is not always possible for the buyer to prove that he was sold a poor quality product, and it is not always possible for the buyer to return his money.

Cheating at a car dealership with a car price

There is such a scheme of deception in a car dealership when selling a car, when a buyer wants to buy a car he likes and the price has already been agreed upon, they begin to tell him that there is still a buyer for this car, and there is no longer such a car with the same characteristics. With such a scheme, in a car dealership, they try to increase the cost of selling a car by several tens of thousands of rubles, and sometimes by several hundred thousand rubles. It is also very common for car dealerships to sell cars for foreign currency, although this is prohibited by law. When selling a car in a showroom for currency, a car dealership sets its own exchange rate, according to its own rules, although this is prohibited.

What can you do if you cheated at a car dealership and where you can go if you cheated at a car dealership

If a buyer was deceived in a car dealership when buying a car, then in accordance with the Federal Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", you can write a legal claim before recalculating the price for a car, to terminate a car purchase agreement, to eliminate defects in a car. If the issue is not resolved in court, then you can go to court with a statement of claim, to terminate the contract for the sale of a car, refund, elimination of defects, recalculation of the cost for the car. When filing a statement of claim in court, at a car dealership, the court is obliged to fine the seller (car dealership) by 50% of the price of the claim. Also, in accordance with article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, fraud is punished long term... When cheating at a car dealership, it is better to contact a lawyer or attorney.

On the Russian Legal Portal, many lawyers and attorneys are registered who have extensive practice in solving problems with car dealerships, both before the court and arbitrage practice... On the Russian Legal Portal, you can leave an application if you have problems with a car dealership so that a lawyer or attorney can help you, and you can also call the legal hotline at 8-800-777-32-63.

It all starts with a phone call. The dealership manager confidently informs that the required car is available, by affordable price and the required configuration. In reality, the car is more expensive, the equipment is different, or it has already been sold. Such tricks are used not only by car dealers, but also by everyone who sells something. The manager needs to fraudulently lure the client into the store and try to sell the car that is in stock. As a result, the buyer loses precious time and leaves with nothing. It's in best case, and at worst - buys a car on credit at an inflated price.

To increase the comfort and protection of the car, it is necessary to install additional equipment... You can order the installation at any car dealership. However, not many people realize that the cost of equipment and installation services can be several times higher than in any car service. A radio tape recorder, alarm system and parking sensors are the most necessary things. The main rule of trading is to buy at a lower price and sell at a higher price. Most customers buy a car on credit, so the additional payment of 20-40 thousand rubles to the cost of the car does not really matter. This is what managers use when they offer their services. The argument for persuasion is the loss of the car warranty if the equipment is installed in another car service.

The car warranty is important point in the sales contract. All malfunctions arising during the operation of the machine can be eliminated under warranty. This happens in theory, but in practice it is different. Often, the warranty does not cover the entire vehicle, or each unit or component has its own warranty period. As a rule, parts from another plant are often used in the manufacture of a car. When contacting a car dealership under warranty, it turns out that for repair it is necessary to take the car to the manufacturer of the failed unit. The cost of the road is greater than the cost of the spare part itself. It often happens when they say that this part is not available and will bring it in a month. Therefore, the car owner is forced to buy everything for repair at his own expense. Warranty repair with money from car enthusiasts - a popular method to increase profits c.

Virtual clients help to sell machines for 10% more expensive. When choosing a car, the buyer finds out that the car has already been sold, the manager informs about the arrival of a new batch of cars in the near future and offers to pay an advance. But nobody wants to wait a month or more. Everyone dreams of driving a brand new car. Therefore, the seller tells the buyer that he is very lucky and can negotiate with a previous customer who agrees to give up the car for a small fee. The gullible buyer happily lays out the required amount of money.

Car dealerships go to great lengths to get super profits. In addition to harmless methods of deception, when a customer voluntarily buys a car at an inflated price, there are more arrogant and hidden methods of fraud.

When buying a car in the salon, many people think that the car is new and unbroken. In fact, things may not be so. The car was scratched for one reason or another, underwent pre-sale preparation and painting of some body elements. Bona fide car dealerships notify the buyer and make a discount on the sale. Scammers hide this and sell the car as new. In fact, the car is new and for many owners this is not critical, however, upon subsequent sale, the price for a repainted car will be much lower.

Substitution of the purchase and sale agreement is the most offensive and impudent type of fraud. The buyer, suspecting nothing, signs the contract and pays the advance. After completing all the documents, the client learns that the cost of the car has increased by 30-50% and he must pay the car dealership the cost of the car plus services for the selection of the same car. In case of refusal to purchase and termination of the contract unilaterally, the client owes the salon a penalty - 30% of the value of the car. The deceived buyer has to decide how to get out of this situation with less material losses. Stay and advance, buy expensive car on credit or choose a cheaper car.

Without thoroughly studying the contract, you can use a different package. After paying the cost of the car, it turns out that the selected equipment is not available, or cheaper is installed. At the same time, the dealership manager claims that this is a factory complete set, and there is not a word about the equipment required by the client in the contract.

A loan allows you to become a happy owner of a car. However, when buying on credit, it may not be the buyer who is satisfied, but the car dealer or bank. Any car dealership offers a very profitable terms lending. In reality, low interest rate can grow up to 20% or more. The reason for the deception is the buyer's carelessness and carelessness when signing the contract.

To force the client to buy an expensive car or a car with more expensive equipment, car dealerships again use loans. By paying an advance and submitting an application, the client is waiting for the bank's decision. As a result, it turns out that the cost of the car is not suitable for the loan program. To approve a loan, the loan amount must be larger. Future car owners agree and buy the car for a price that is much higher than what they expected.

Do not forget that the upcoming purchase is very expensive and involves a lot of risk.
Of course, there are many conscientious car dealerships and honest dealers on the market, but lovers of big and easy money will always be found. Car dealership managers are getting more and more inventive every day, so it is very difficult to foresee all the nuances of buying a car and have 100% protection. To protect yourself as much as possible from fraud, you need to be vigilant, carefully read the contract, especially what is written in small print. Make sure that there are no payment points for picking a car, manager's fee and VAT. Bring your friends or acquaintances with you to close the deal. The contract must clearly indicate all information about the vehicle and equipment. Remember that every car dealership tries to lure in with low prices or great deals. In pursuit of a bargain purchase, you can get into the networks of scammers.

Do not sign the contract if in doubt. It is better to refuse to buy a car initially and not create problems for yourself. At the first suspicion of deception, leave the car dealership. If the advance payment is not returned to you or if illegal actions are taken, immediately call the police squad.

  • how they cheated me at the car dealership

Of all the businessmen in Western culture, the car dealers are considered the most cunning. But for some reason there is a feeling that our Russian car dealers will nevertheless give a head start in agility to their western colleagues.

Dollar rate

This trick is quite old, more than twenty years old, but it is still used by dodgy car dealers, especially in the regions. Quite an attractive price is set for the car, only in foreign currency. After the conclusion of the contract, the buyer learns that the currency rate is much higher than the official one. So even budget car can cost the new owner 50 thousand, or even 100 more. Therefore, it is worth clarifying the exchange rate before concluding a transaction.

Deposit

Again, it all starts with a tempting car price. The client makes a deposit up to one hundred thousand rubles. There is a clause in the contract that states that 8% of the transaction amount is withheld by the salon. At the checkout, it is discovered that the price of the car differs from the announced one upwards. The buyer terminates the contract, but the salon gets 8%, just the amount of the deposit. Recently, this has been recognized as fraudulent, so if such a situation arises, you should immediately contact the law enforcement agencies.

Warranty binding

It often happens that the salon announces the extension of the warranty for a certain model. In fact, it may happen that the most out-of-warranty operations, such as, for example, replacing tires, under the terms of the contract, will be forced to carry out only in this salon. The "golden" guarantee expires if such unfavorable conditions are refused. And the disadvantage is that in simple salons these operations are much cheaper.
