True, there is a nuance. As it turned out, the Korean engineers did not provide for the option of draining the coolant from the cylinder block. And at the moment of removing the old pump - coolant will flow from the block ...
When revising the giblets from the side of the block, a place with deposits of rye or something similar to it was found. It's strange. The owner of the car says that he never poured water. So, the reason for the appearance of deposits will remain a mystery.
The new pump is not original.

We put the pump in place. But that's not all. Due to the fact that the pump is not original, the internal small pulley of the power steering drive had to be modified. It stands inside the pump pulley.
The reason is that there is a cylindrical key on a non-original pump, which is not in the original.
Therefore, I had to drill the inner pulley, pulling it off the outer one.
After which the pulleys quietly fell into place ...
Returning to replacing the timing belt on the G4GC engine.
We consider the number of teeth on the old timing belt and compare the resulting number with the number of teeth on the new belt. Doing this is MANDATORY! Because there was an experience when I put it without looking, but it turned out that on the new belt there is one more tooth than it should be.
Then we count the number of teeth between the marks that were placed on the old belt and also mark the new belt.
We put a new timing belt roller on the block. Tighten with a torque wrench to 55N.
We set the crankshaft according to the marks on the gear at TDC for the compression stroke. We expose the camshaft drive gear according to the marks. We put on a new belt, matching the markings that were copied from the old belt. So that the belt does not fly off the gear, we fix it.
We put in place a new roller tensioner. We tighten it with a torque wrench with a torque of 55 N.
