The most reliable Japanese car brands. Best Japanese car - rankings in different countries The most reliable car from Japan

One can argue for a long time about which car is called "reliable". Indeed, these days it is difficult to surprise someone with a mileage of 200 thousand kilometers. But out of several good cars you can always choose the best one. This review presents 10 of the most reliable Japanese cars that can easily cover 300,000 km or more.

1. Honda Civic

The hybrid version of the Civic has had battery problems over the past few years. Petrol version is devoid of such a drawback and will serve for a long time. Model previous generation looked a little outdated, but in 2015 a new, improved version was released.

2. Toyota Highlander

The Toyota Highlander is a car aimed at young people. But the model also attracted couples with children who do not want a minivan. And this is a great alternative. According to experts, the Highlander is an excellent SUV - comfortable, spacious, quiet. And the very best of the Highlander range are the V6 models.

3. Toyota Sienna

The rear doors of Toyota Sienna slide easily and then children can be safely seated on the spacious sofa. And if you fold it, then you can load a lot of luggage. No matter what you need to transport, this minivan is perfect. In addition, the car is all-wheel drive, which makes it even more useful. It will "live" for a long time and, in general, the Sienna is one of the "longest lived" minivans on the market.

6. Toyota Corolla

Drivers don't always need as much space in the cabin as they do in a spacious CR-V or Accord. For them, a compact Toyota Corolla... The eleventh generation car looks much more noticeable than previous versions... And not only outside, but also inside. The interior is now much more stylish and comfortable than it used to be.

7. Honda Pilot

For large families who do not want to travel by minivan, the Honda Pilot crossover is perfect. This four-wheel drive car can accommodate up to eight passengers.

8. Honda Odyssey

Honda Odyssey may not be the most best minivan, but the model is worth paying attention to. The car can accommodate eight passengers, as well as all the luggage that they can take with them. 9. Toyota Camry

Popular sedan every few years Toyota Camry undergoing modernization or facelift. And every time updated model demonstrates the high reliability inherent in the models of the Japanese company. Cars with 4-cylinder engines are especially good. They are not the most dynamic, but they can provide a mileage of up to 300 thousand kilometers.

10. Toyota Prius

When did the sales of the first Toyota Prius, many believed that an expensive accumulator battery will become a big problem for the owners of these cars. But Toyota engineers thought of everything perfectly and the car turned out to be very reliable. Actual mileage of Toyota Prius can reach 300 thousand kilometers and more.

Unlike Japanese cars from this review, the rating may come in handy when choosing a car.

The auto industry in Japan has gone uphill at a high pace not so long ago, but in a short period of time, this country has achieved phenomenal results in the sales market. Today reliable japanese cars mobiles are highly valued all over the world, but Russian motorists have a special love for them. This is no coincidence. Cars produced in the "Land of the Rising Sun" have been plowing our problem roads for decades, and it is worth noting that they cope with potholes and pits one hundred percent.

Other advantages of these cars include such important factors as unpretentiousness to the quality of gasoline, resistance to any weather conditions, and inexpensive maintenance. What else does a true motorist need to be happy? We offer to evaluate the rating of Japanese cars by brand.

At one time the founder Toyota decided to change his direction of activity, and instead of looms, he decided to produce cars. Today the company occupies a leading position in the sales of its vehicles all over the world. Russia is no exception, which actively cooperates with its eastern neighbor. In different regions of our country, there are different indicators of the percentage of purchases of cars Toyota brands, but, for example, in Primorye, Toyota cars account for about 90% of the total number of purchased cars.

Why are the products of this company so appreciated, and this, first of all:

  • Simple yet effective design;
  • Affordable price for a complete set;
  • High reliability;
  • Unpretentiousness and stable work on our roads.

The best Japanese cars from this company are snapping up at the speed of light. Luxury models such as the Lexus have long established themselves as the most prestigious and most reliable Japanese cars. But there are other products that are also highly regarded: Corolla, Camry, Land cruiser.

Honda

In our country, Honda is a very popular brand, since cars from this company are attractive in appearance, aggressive in their technical characteristics, and they are also classified as the most reliable Japanese cars along with Toyota. But, if this is an Accord, or if it is a sports car, then such transport must be treated with caution: gasoline of acceptable quality, high quality oil, driving on flat road.

If you follow these rules, then the "iron friend" from the Honda brand will last for a year, and will not take the owner by surprise, will not let you down at the most crucial moment, and in general, will only give you one pleasure.

The best Japanese stamps cars are famous for their build quality, metal quality. Products from Nissan adheres strictly to the standards that enable Nissan to compete with Toyota. Excellent transmission, high-torque engine, but the suspension from Japanese manufacturers is rather weak for our roads.

Pivot joints wear out quickly and the suspension becomes unusable due to Low quality road surface covering. The rest of the vehicles from Nissan, if not ideal, then practically are.

The rating of Japanese cars would be incomplete without this brand. Majority Vehicle from Subaru are great for, because these cars are different high quality assembly of the engine, which is protected from below by metal pallets, and on our roads - especially important.

But many are afraid to start such a car in their garage, because Subaru equips its cars with an opposed engine type, which, in case of failure, will bring headache to the Russian car owner. Indeed, in Russia, boxer engines are a sheer rarity, and therefore their maintenance costs a pretty penny.

Mazda

The Japanese car brands Mazda 2 and Mazda 3 made a lot of noise in their time. These cars can rightfully be considered as legendary cars with rotary engine... In our country, at the sight of a rotor, maintenance specialists have problems, since they rarely have to deal with this type of engine.

This often discourages Russian motorists from buying a Mazda. In addition, it is worth noting that the suspension, like that of Nissan cars, in Mazda is weak, and on our roads it quickly fails. But in general, Mazda products are at a high level, and if you drive around the city, and if outside the city, then on a flat road, then there will be no problems with the car.

When planning to buy a car, many ask the question: which is the most reliable The first thing that comes to mind: the Germans are unsurpassed manufacturers. However, life and practice have proven that this is a somewhat controversial statement.

What is the most reliable car brand?

If you look at the reliability ratings different brands, then a big surprise can await us here: all the options under consideration are strictly subjective and very often contradict each other. In this case, everyone needs to independently analyze the situation, having considered the existing views of the majority, form and determine their own priorities regarding each of the brands.

Modest Japanese

Currently, the situation on the auto market is such that the models produced in Japan have seriously pressed such confident and famous car manufacturers as Germany and the United States of America. Owners of Japanese cars know which reliable brand car, and it's not even worth trying to convince them otherwise. In addition to the reviews of the direct owners, the ratings based on independent expert conclusions also testify to the high-quality performance.

Japanese machines prove their reliability in practice. And if we consider that they are more affordable in terms of the price category, they are more often bought, then the percentage of satisfied buyers is higher. Hence the statistics look more convincing.

Take a brand such as Toyota Scion, for example. This model was created for implementation in the United States. For its beauty, reliability, efficiency, the car has gained immense popularity and has become a favorite in sales not only in America, but also in European countries, as well as here, in Russia.

This "Japanese horse" was loved from the first release. Then the famous concern created new model- with a coupe body. Success again. Today Toyota Scion is among the best sellers around the world. The engine does not require visiting service centers for a long time, and it is difficult to find equals in terms of comfort and safety.

Worthy compatriots rivals

Japanese cars are constantly striking in their luxury, comfort and reliability. In many ratings, they occupy leading positions. However, the opinion of experts in determining the most reliable Japanese car brand is probably sometimes "biased" by interested parties. Nevertheless, combining the results, it is safe to say which is the most reliable car brand among Japanese cars. This is Lexus. Some experts even call him the undisputed leader, since over the past five years he has been number one in many ratings.

Why is he so good? If we talk about reliability, then it was this brand that showed the most low level breakdowns over the past year. Many other promoted brands turned out to be almost twice worse in this indicator.

And it also depends on the driver

Every car enthusiast has his own opinion about which is the most reliable car brand today. For example, the owners of Mercedes-Benz say they are proud of the purchase and will not exchange this car for any other brand.

But anyone, even the most modern, reliable and safe car requires a respectful and careful attitude towards himself. An inadequate driver of a cool foreign car will be a frequent customer of car dealerships. Of course, the manufacturers are in no way to blame in this case.

In good and caring hands, it can even serve for a long time and reliably. When deciding on a purchase, you need to take into account this human factor.

The Japanese car industry has long managed to overtake its European counterparts in terms of reliability, style and technical component of their cars. Japan is ready to provide a wide range of cars in different segments: from budget to luxury and premium.

It should be understood that the Japanese car segment has a significant impact on the overall structure of the modern car market.

The reliability of cars is a highly subjective assessment and many companies are credited with biases in their assessment. Indeed, it is very difficult to make a truly adequate rating and select criteria. In fact, all cars break down, are subject to wear and tear and are not insured against accidents.

One of the most respectable and respected organizations that is entitled to provide such ratings is J.D. Power and Associates. Employees of this company analyze the answers of about 40 thousand respondents and present the rating to the whole world.

Today we will try to find out which brand was given individual preference.

Automotive products this particular company is especially popular in Russia. The fact is that due to the reliability and adaptability of machines to modern climatic conditions region, they delight with very impressive performance.

All this is due to strict control over the quality of products and work performed. At the same time, control is carried out at all stages, starting with design. All new models are created on the basis of structural schemes and technological solutions that have already been tested by time. However, the management is constantly trying to experiment and introduce new ideas and technologies.

Toyota offers the consumer a choice from a wide range of models. Particular emphasis in the lineup needs to be placed on the SUV segment. They are recognized as the most reliable and productive. Legends such as the Land Cruiser and Land Cruiser Prado are capable of handling the most challenging road conditions.

The products of this Japanese brand managed to take an honorable second place in the ranking. It should be noted that the components, assemblies, components and the cars themselves are practically not inferior in quality and reliability to Toyota. Unlike its predecessor, the suspension of these cars is less off-road. Nissan cars on the contrary, they have a focus on making governance more sustainable and understandable in urban areas.

While off-road models such as the Primera and Almera do not feel very confident, they will even show very good results in urban areas. Also Nissan specializes in the production of sports cars. Skyline is legendary car that has captivated the hearts of speed lovers for a long time.

Mitsubishi

If we talk about Japanese cars, it's hard not to remember this legendary brand. Decent level of reliability, integration modern technologies and electronic filling - these are the advantages of cars of this brand.

Mitsubishi is ready to boast of both interesting city cars (Lancer, ASX, Grandis) and confident representatives of the SUV segment (Pajero Sport, Pajero Wagon, Outlander XL). At the same time, the company also represents the racing segment - Lancer evolution... Recently, Mitsubishi has been intensively working on the creation and promotion of electric cars.

It is an eternal competitor to the previous Japanese brand. Feature Subaru - addiction to boxer engines... The Subaru car feels very confident both in the city and far beyond its borders. However, cars of this brand are very sensitive to fuel quality, and spare parts and components are expensive.

Note that Subaru Impreza is an eternal competitor sports version a car from the previous brand (Lancer Evolution).

It is no less popular and demanded brand in Russia. Stylish design, comfortable ride and excellent specifications- this is what bribes domestic motorists. Honda cars are also demanding on fuel quality, engine oil and road surface.

The most popular brand models: Accord, CR-V, Pilot. The Japanese brand presents an assortment of car selection in different segments.

The final position of the rating was given to the Japanese brand Mazda. However, don't think that these cars are unreliable or of inferior quality. The popularity of this brand in Russia is difficult to overestimate. City cars, SUVs, pickups, minivans - all these types of cars are presented in lineup Mazda.

Mazda 3, 6, CX7, CX9 are perhaps the most popular cars of the Mazda brand.

Each of the presented car brands has its own advantages and features. It's up to you!

May your ride always be comfortable and the car will never fail.

Toyota vs. BMW, Audi vs. Mazda, Mercedes-Benz vs. Infiniti. And this list can be continued for a long time. It just so happened that motorists around the world are constantly comparing german cars mobiles that were once reckoned with Japanese cars, which also from the very beginning have established themselves as ultra-reliable and "non-tormenting" vehicles.

It's no wonder why fierce battles always arise in disputes between fans of Japanese and German cars, where each camp is trying to prove to each other which cars are better after all. And, probably, this dispute cannot be resolved, since the question of which machine is better is pure philosophy that does not have an engineering and technical explanation. Nevertheless, we will try to do it today. However, turning the question a little differently. So let's go.

Today the fact remains:. Even true fans of the German car industry recognize this. And it doesn't matter what brand of cars we compare. Indeed, Japanese cars are more durable than German ones. But the question is: why?

Have the Germans forgotten how to make reliable cars? Of course not. This becomes clear when it comes to the incredible engineering technology that appears on every new German car today. Moreover, as it was initially, at the dawn of the auto industry, most German companies open up new technologies to the world, forcing the entire auto industry to move into the future. But why, then, is the Japanese car industry more reliable and enduring?

We contacted a German engineer dealing with research and development work (R&D) with a team of eminent scientists, engineers and designers, asking him why, at a time when the German automotive industry is automotive technology ahead of the rest, cars from Germany are less hardy than Japanese cars.

Due to the fact that our interlocutor is part of a large group of specialists from different countries of the world (including from Germany), we got the opportunity to understand how German engineers think when creating a product (in particular, a car), and also get an unexpected answer to the question of why German cars are less reliable than Japanese ones. Here's what he told us:

I have had the pleasure of working with several Japanese, Italian, Taiwanese, Chinese and Russian scientists and engineers. Naturally, before that my experience was also associated with working with German engineers and scientists in Germany. Therefore, having worked in R&D, I can now compare how German engineers and scientists differ from specialists from other countries. Let's focus on what interests you: German and Japanese engineers.

German and Japanese engineers have one common feature: they come up with and know how to bring to life quality parts from seemingly awful materials. In general, if you need to make candy out of shit, all questions are for Japanese and German engineers. They will really approach the task from a scientific point of view and figure out how to make a masterpiece out of the impossible. Moreover, their approach is the same for every even small detail, be it a self-tapping screw, a clip, etc.

Unfortunately, such a general approach of the Germans and Japanese to design and development does not give an understanding of why, in fact, most Japanese cars are more reliable than German ones in the real world. After all, if engineers from two countries have the same approach to development and their implementation, why then from the assembly line of Japanese car companies more reliable cars coming out? Are the Germans doing worse in the end?

No. In fact, the problem is more fundamental. Let me explain.

Germans love rules. They follow these rules. Therefore, when developing cars, German engineers initially take into account this feature of the German people, who love and know how to obey any rules. As a result, when a future German car is being developed and constructed, its technologies have already taken into account that those who will drive them will unquestioningly observe the RULES developed by the automaker!

When Japanese engineers develop automobiles, the design ideology differs significantly from the German engineering approach. So when engineers in Japan develop a product, they ask themselves: “How will customers use it? How can I prevent a crash if they abuse it? "

And here is what a German engineer thinks when he comes up with, develops and creates any product (not necessarily a car): “I made this car, and it must be used in a certain way, strictly according to the developed rules. If the customer misuses them and they fail (the product fails), it is his fault, not mine. ".

And so it is. This is the real difference between German engineering and Japanese engineering. You will look at most German products, which all must use exactly in accordance with the conditions established by the manufacturer for which the product is intended. And then, probably, this product will serve you as long as possible. If the consumer exceeds the manufacturer's limits of use, then you can expect the German product to fail in a short time.

Many japanese products(including cars) perform well even outside the specifications and conditions of use.

For example, in the auto world there are many examples when in some Toyota, in which a planned Maintenance, the driver was faced with the super-endurance of the car, surprising in its reliability. For comparison: if you do not carry out scheduled maintenance on time for a German car, it will quickly fail, unlike Japanese cars, which can withstand even a rare change of engine oil in the engine.

Yes, you can, of course, argue for a long time, bringing thousands more arguments both in favor of Japanese engineers and defending the German auto industry and those who serve for its benefit. There is no consensus. Someone believes that it is impossible to make German cars super-quality and reliable, since they are technologically complex (the level of complexity of some German cars is comparable to early space rockets).

Someone thinks that the Germans have gotten drunk in recent years and deliberately ruined their car industry, reducing the potential life of a car in order to sell as much as possible. more cars... Someone is convinced that the Japanese managed to establish the production of the most reliable and quality cars in the world due to a change in the policy of standardization and quality back in the 60s and 70s under the leadership of American scientists.

As a result, Japan went to great lengths after World War II to improve its manufacturing capabilities and technology. Thanks to the efforts of thousands of engineers, the Japanese have learned to create some of the most reliable products in the world, as a result, all over the world, they began to praise Japanese products for their reference reliability. AND main reason This, according to many experts, is the rethinking of the entire policy of quality standardization in the entire industry of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Germany, on the other hand, is well known for its technology since the Second World War. Yes, Germany has always had good engineers. But the quality standardization left much to be desired. There were also problems in Germany with the organization of competent production.

During the war, the Germans, by the way, did not have a developed system of interchangeable spare parts for military equipment... For example, the well-known Panther tank was equipped with tracks, which, in case of damage, could be replaced with new ones created only at the plant where the tank was produced. Russian and American tanks were easily repaired thanks to the standardization of parts. This is why Russian tanks were more effective in single combat.

But later the Germans also came to standardization throughout the industry. This also affected the auto industry. There is no way without it in today's highly competitive world. ... And the higher and more successful this standardization, the more successful the company is in the market. In general, the standardization of German industry began in the mid-70s. Until that time, Germany was not very concerned about quality programs. As a result, production standardization programs and quality programs appeared in Germany much later than in the USA and Japan.

At the moment, the standardization standard in the automotive industry is such companies as Ford and Toyota, which were able to create a truly unique standard of product quality without compromising its cost. That is why these companies are collecting all the cream from the car market today. Especially Toyota, which sells the most cars in the world.

Due to a different policy, the Germans chose a slightly different path, focusing on the production of premium complex technical cars, taking the production of cars with amazing technologies as a standard. Unfortunately, we know that what harder car by design, the less reliable it is. As a result, German cars break down more often than Japanese ones.

But again, we return to the fact that German cars are of better quality and more reliable if you follow them and follow all the rules prescribed by the automaker. Japanese cars are simpler, they have less technology, and also cost significantly less German cars... Also, Japanese cars are more resilient, since initially engineers put scenarios in the Japanese auto industry when car owners begin to deviate from the rules prescribed by the manufacturer.

But, despite the above, it cannot be said unequivocally that German cars are less reliable. Just German and initially have a different foundation in development. As a result, these cars are different in spirit. This means that it is incorrect to compare their quality and reliability.

If we put all these difficulties aside, then, of course, Japanese cars last longer. Especially if their owners do not really follow the cars. German cars are more capricious and require proper respect from their owners.
