Where is Renault Logan assembled and manufactured in Russia? Vacancies of the company “RENAULT Renault assembled in Russia.

Most motorists, before buying their car, are interested in where it was assembled, because its cost directly depends on such a location. And such information about one of the most popular cars in our country - Renault Logan, interests its potential buyers.

This material will tell you in detail about where such factories are located in Russia, as well as about the peculiarities of their production on the territory of our Motherland.

Plant "RENAULT-RUSSIA" and production of Renault Logan (1st and 2nd phase)

The plant of JSC Moskvich, frozen in its time at the final stages of construction, became the launching pad for the creation of such a powerful enterprise, which it is now. To improve the quality of assembly, the plant introduced a production technology using manual labor.

Renault Logan and Renault Sandrero are on the assembly line at the same time

To ensure that the quality does not suffer from this, and only brings benefits, each employee undergoes special training courses created according to international standards. Therefore, the people in the enterprise are able to work with the precision and accuracy of robotic machines. All equipment of the enterprise is created with protection against possible employee errors, controlling the work using computer modeling.

This is how Renault Logan cars are assembled at factories in Russia.

Upon release, each model is tested for leaks and driving performance... And also selectively for the quality of welds.

A few words about Renault

More than a hundred years have passed since the brothers Louis, Fernand and Marcel Renault created their concern. And today the French company ranks 4th in the number of cars produced in the world. Renault was able to achieve this progress thanks to close cooperation with Nissan, forming the Renault-Nissan holding. Therefore, at the moment, cars with the French logo are stamped in many parts of the world, and Russia is no exception. Since Renault cars are very popular on the territory of our country, the factories here are one of the largest in the world.

This is what the Avtoframos plant in Russia looked like.

Since 1998 a subsidiary "Avtoframos" was engaged in the production and sale of Renault cars in Russia. However, in 2014 it was abolished and in 2015 it became known as Renault-Russia.

conclusions

Most of the reviews from users of Renault cars that are produced in Russia remain only positive and this is no accident. After all, created in the homeland and adapted to our roads, Renault has truly excellent technical and operational characteristics.

Renault Corporation is one of the most popular automotive concerns in Russia. The company offers many budget cars and representatives of the middle segment, each model has personal characteristics. It must be admitted that the active growth of the French company in recent years has significantly influenced the popularity of the brand's models. In Europe, a few years ago, Renault was not considered a worthy car to buy. Today the question of purchasing quality car in a European family, it is often decided to buy Renault. The fact is that the ratio of price and quality of the company's cars has become quite good, taking into account all the modern features of the corporation's transport. Yes, and the price tags did not rise, even taking into account the general inflation and other troubles.

European cars in Russia are becoming more and more popular, overtaking the Japanese and American markets in terms of their parameters. The fact is that cars from all other countries are sold in dollars, but Europe sells cars to Russia for Euro, which has also recently lost ground. Therefore, the price of European cars has not grown too much. Renault's position on price tags remained quite tough, all budget class cars added a minimum to their price values. This is a fairly simple and understandable explanation of why the corporation's cars have become even more popular among Russian buyers.

Major Renault factories and assembly sites in the world

The country of origin Renault is France. But in Europe work force is very expensive, and building additional factories on the territory of small France will generally cost cosmic sums. Therefore, the corporation uses other opportunities to expand. Either a plant is being built in third world countries, or other enterprises are being bought out in Europe. Thus, the corporation was able to expand its presence in the world, and most of the budget cars supplied to Russia are not assembled in France. The main factories and assembly sites for Renault vehicles are as follows:

  • France - not far from Paris, the first and once main plant of the company is located, which serves for the development and invention of new technologies;
  • Romania - the former Dacia corporation is almost entirely owned by Renault, all Romanian Dacia plants produce French cars;
  • Korea - the Samsung brand is 80% owned by Renault, many of the manufacturing facilities are used to make cars;
  • Brazil is one of the largest assemblies for the company's cars, which supplies cars to all countries in Latin America;
  • Russia - Let's start with the fact that Renault owns 50% of AvtoVAZ, and also some models are assembled at the Avtoframos plant with updated production lines.

It is worth remembering about such cooperation as the Renault and Nissan alliance. These are two companies that can boast of their beneficial cooperation. In 2014, this alliance became the fourth in the world in car production. Renault owns over 40 percent of the shares nissan, so that the French today almost completely control the work and development of this company. Nevertheless, the competitive environment between these brands remains, since the companies belong to approximately the same segment, each development is a potential competitor for the brotherly concern. Despite all the difficulties, Renault-Nissan cooperation brings many positive aspects in the exchange of technologies and the acquisition of new production capabilities.

Budget Renault cars in Russia

Among all the representatives of the Renault lineup, the most popular are budget cars, some of which appeared in the corporation's lineup after merging with the Dacia concern.These are reworked and modified Romanian cars that received French engines and boxes, a completely redesigned interior and many important and useful developments. ... Thanks to these features, the corporation was able to provide Europe and the CIS countries with more freedom in choosing low-cost transport. Excellent models, reliable technologies and quite adequate design in the last two or three years cause only positive emotions from acquaintance with cars. Budget class represented by such cars:

  • Renault Logan is a great sedan in a new design with good salon and a very impressive configuration, the starting cost of the car is just a little over 400,000 rubles;
  • Renault Sandero - a hatchback, built on the basis and in the design of Logan, a very comfortable and quite dynamic city car, the base price is identical to the Logan;
  • Renault Sandero Stepway - a slightly modified version of the hatchback with additional design features of the crossover, slightly raised above the ground, price from 600,000 rubles;
  • Renault Duster is a crossover that has received several titles people's car in Russia and the best-selling SUV in our country, the cost of the car is from 650,000 rubles;
  • Renault Dokker is another representative of a budget family that will not appear on our market in any way, an interesting minivan or even a heel with a low price.

As you can see, all budget cars of the corporation are supplied exclusively from the Romanian concern, they all have their roots in Dacia. This origin gives certain benefits, because all these cars are assembled either in Romania or in Russia. Therefore, the company may not raise the cost of some models, and if it does, then not in the same way as competitors do. This is another great competitive advantage of the company. Of course, the budget lineup of the Renault automobile corporation can hardly be called ideal in all characteristics, but you cannot precisely characterize it as bad.

Middle price class from Renault corporation

The French company Renault supplies many other cars to the Russian market that have nothing to do with Romanian production. They were developed much earlier than the company began to actively develop the Dacia brand and factories. These models often come from history, in which everything is quite interesting for the French corporation. It is one of the oldest European car manufacturers, the most active market player budget cars and actively developing company the last five years. The main models of the French own development are as follows:

  • Renault Megane Hatchback is a traditional C-class in a pretty modern design, with a beautiful interior and very exciting characteristics, the price is from 900,000 rubles;
  • Renault fluence - a large sedan, which has become one of the most popular solutions for business in Russia, a representative car for relatively little money - 900,000 rubles;
  • Renault Kangoo is a passenger heel, which became one of the most popular in Russia in the first generation; today, an improved and large Kangoo can be bought for 1,000,000 rubles;
  • Renault Koleos is a large crossover with quite adequate design, very good technical base, expensive equipment and cost only 1,200,000 rubles.

Also, do not forget about the presence in the model line of the corporation sports cars... Renault Clio R.S. will be a great addition to your collection of cars if you are fond of motor sports and active travel. As a car for daily use, this transport is not very suitable. Renault Megane R.S. is a hatchback with three doors, slightly larger than the Clio, which offers the most powerful engines corporations, advanced gearbox technologies, and many others important characteristics... You can find your complete set of any presented car and not spend too much money on technologies you do not need. Watch a fun test drive Renault Megan R.S .:

Summing up

The specifics of the work of the Renault corporation is such that you can find unique carthat will suit you completely. With the help of fairly simple configurations and weight additional equipment you will select a machine that will perform all the necessary tasks in your operation. There are two separate lineups in the production of the modern Renault brand. The first line of cars - budget vehicles developed by Dacia. The second is the Renault cars themselves.

And if Dacia is actively saving money, then the French division of Renault performs all tasks as efficiently as possible. The company's cars began to compete in quality with the most famous and respected European brands, but this does not always work into the hands of the brand. Good prices, nice design and quite adequate technology are not for every buyer the first factor when buying a car. But in other qualities, the French concern Renault is still rather weak.

The company "Avtoframos" - "Renault" of Russian production.

Avtoframos JSC was founded in 1998. Avtoframos is a joint venture between the famous French carmaker Renault and the government of the Russian capital, which was represented in the creation of the joint venture through the participation of the Bank of Moscow. Renault's share in Avtoframos is slightly more than 94% of the capital, the rest belongs to the Russian side. The Renault car manufacturing plant is located in Moscow and has a capacity of 160,000 cars per year. In total, Avtoframos employs over 2.3 thousand people. The turnover of JSC Avtoframos in 2009 amounted to 24.4 billion rubles.

The basis of Avtoframos products is two popular Renault cars - Logan and Sandero. The plant's capacity is constantly increasing, and the model range of Avtoframos is also expanding. In 2007-2008, Avtoframos JSC produced 69 thousand and 73 thousand Renault Logan vehicles, respectively. Then an additional $ 150,000,000 was invested in the expansion of production capacity (the initial investment was 250 million). Due to this, in 2010, Avtoframos OJSC mastered the production of a five-door hatchback Renault Sandero and approximately doubled production. In the autumn of the same year, SKD assembly of two more models, the "family" golf class cars Fluence and Megane, began. In 2012, Avtoframos launched the production of the first Russian-French crossover - Renault Duster.

The Avtoframos website provides a convenient overview of products and services.

On the official Avtoframos website http://www.renault.ru you can get acquainted with all the company's products and today's prices for them. Options for each vehicle model are presented. On the Avtoframos site there is a special "constructor" that allows site visitors to choose the most optimal car configuration for themselves and find out its cost. For those who prefer to make purchases on credit, the resource pages provide detailed information on the offered credit lines and leasing services at Avtoframos. It also contains all the necessary information about Avtoframos dealers and the company's service network.

The most popular among Russian consumers continues to be the budget Renault Logan model. Today, in the production of this machine at Avtoframos, about 50% of the components are used domestic production... Back in 2009, according to this indicator, "Logan" was recognized as the "most Russian" of all foreign cars sold in the country. Also loved by our motorists and created on the basis of "Logan" five-door hatchback Sandero. Together, these two models make up the lion's share of all cars produced at Avtoframos. Well, for those who prefer higher level cars, Avtoframos collects another widely famous car - Renault Megane, as well as essentially representing it updated version Renault Fluence. Both sedans belong to the increasingly popular C + class.

Avtoframos: continuing the Renault tradition.

Renault is one of the world's most famous brands. Corporation "Avtoframos" is one of the first car manufacturing companies in history, founded in the century before last! Reno cars have always been known in our country. The first taxis of this brand appeared in Moscow in the 1920s. In the future, the company "Avtoframos" has always remained in the leaders of the global automotive industry. It was Renault that almost half a century ago produced the world's first hatchback, recognized as the car of the year in Europe. At that time it was undoubtedly best modelintended for the general consumer. Today JV OJSC "Avtoframos" continues the traditions of a recognized leader automotive industry... The Moscow plant of the Avtoframos company produces high-quality, inexpensive cars that are ideal for the Russian market. It is worth noting a gradual increase in the share of domestic components in the production of Avtoframos Corporation.

The times when a vehicle was considered a luxury, and at the disposal of motorists there were only a few domestic carsare in the past.

Modern car market offers dozens of different brands, including foreign manufacturers. One of them is Renault.

This brand has earned popularity in the CIS countries, thanks to its reliability, solid appearance and low price.

With the appearance of factories in Russia, Renault cars have become even more accessible to domestic car owners.

Where are these cars made? What factories are operating in Russia today? How to determine the country of origin by VIN (VIN) -code? These issues require detailed consideration.

General information about RENAULT

Renault Group is a well-known French corporation that sells its cars in more than 200 countries around the world.

Renault's headquarters are located in Boulogne-Billangcourt, near Paris.

Renault Group controls several branches at once - Nissan Motors and Renault Samsung Motors, and also owns shares in Dacia (Romania), Volvo, AvtoVAZ and other companies.

In addition to the main activity, renault produces motors for different manufacturers, also for some Mercedes-Benz models.

In Russia, cars of this brand appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. So, in 1916, the activity of JSC Russian Renault was launched, which includes two factories located in Rybinsk and Petrograd.

The main activity was the production of tractors, cars and airplanes.

After the revolution, the work of the factories was stopped due to nationalization, and work was resumed only in the 60s and 70s. It was during that period that an official representative office was opened and many agreements were concluded.

In the early 90s, offices appeared in Moscow, and in July 1998 a strategic agreement was signed to open the Avtoframos company. A year later, the first workshop for the assembly of Megan models began work, and then Simbol.

Since 2005, a full cycle of car production was launched, and a year later Renault was recognized as the best-selling car in Russia.

By 2012, Renault's share in Avtoframos reached 100%, and in 2014 the name changed - it was transformed into Renault Russia CJSC.

Renault hatchbacks have been produced in Russia since 2009 (test assembly), and a year later a full-fledged release started. In 2010, about 160 thousand cars were produced. A year later, Renault Duster was assembled.

The history of Renault and AvtoVAZ deserves special attention. In 2008, Renault acquired a quarter of all shares in the company, and in 2014, the number valuable papers in the hands of the French exceeded 50%.

Such a rapprochement is caused by the desire to revive the domestic auto industry, to increase its competitiveness in the domestic and world arena.

Speaking in general for the Renault producing countries, there are several main plants:

  • Romania. Cars are produced here mainly for Europe, although some of them also end up in Russia.
  • Brazil is one of the largest Renault producing countries. The only thing is that Brazilian versions of cars do not reach the Russian Federation.
  • India. Here production is focused mainly on domestic market, countries of Africa and Asia.
  • Russia. On the territory of the Russian Federation, Renault cars are produced near Moscow and at AvtoVAZ.

In which countries and where is Renault Logan assembled, are there any factories in Russia?

This vehicle has an increased ground clearance (19.5 cm unloaded) and more powerful suspension elements.

In addition, has undergone changes and appearance vehicle - the shape of the bumpers has changed, plastic sills have been installed, powerful wheel arches and roof rails.

In terms of hardware, the package bundle is somewhere between Expression and Prestige.

The production of the car in Russia started already in the year of its appearance at the Avtoframos plant, near Moscow.

Renault Duster

On the territory of Russia, Duster is assembled in the same place - near Moscow, at the Renault Russia plant.

Every year, more than 150 thousand cars are produced, which fully covers the needs of the domestic market. Defined volume vehicle supplied to neighboring countries.

Renault Captur

Another model worthy of attention is one that can be classified as a novelty. it small crossover, which is based on the 4th generation Renault Clio.

The car was first presented in Geneva in 2013. The start of production in Spain falls on the same year.

In the spring of 2016 was presented a new version Renault Captur, featuring high ground clearance and increased body dimensions. It is based on the well-known Duster.

The car is equipped with two types of engines (1.6 and 2.0 liters), manual transmission, automatic transmission or. Sales of the new model began in the summer of 2016.

Renault Kaptur is assembled at two factories - Renault and AvtoVAZ (including new model).

Due to the similarity with Duster cars, there was no need to change the production process.

In 2016, the Renault plant near Moscow produced about 15,000 renault cars Captur, but the available reserves are sufficient to increase production to 18-20 thousand cars annually.

Renault Megan

Renault Megane cars are considered one of the oldest representatives of the French brand. The car appeared in 1996 and replaced the outdated Renault 19.

For 22 years of release, Megane "survived" three restyling, which almost completely changed its appearance.

Over the years, the car was produced in the following countries (only a few are given):

  • France. The first generation Megane was produced exclusively on the territory of the "native" plant. At the same time, cars for the Russian Federation were assembled in the northern part of France, at the Daewoo plant.
  • Spain (Palencia). The first and second generation cars were produced here.
  • Turkey. At the Oyak-Renault plant, sedans of the 2nd and 3rd generations were produced.
  • Russia. On the territory of the Russian Federation, Renault Megan of the 3rd generation was produced in 2012-2013, and since 2014, the production of a restyled version has been launched near Moscow.

Renault Fluence

Renault Fluence is a compact car, which in 2009 replaced the already obsolete Megan by that time.

It uses the platforms of several cars - Nissan S, as well as two Renault models - Scenic and Megan.

Sales of the first cars started in the spring of 2010, first with a 1.6-liter engine, and then with a 2.0-liter engine. Today a diesel engine has been added to the main range.

On russian market the car appeared in 2010. It was then that the production of the vehicle was set up at the Avtoframos plant (today Renault-Russia).

Simultaneously with the cars assembled in Russia, cars from another producer country - Turkey, appeared on the territory of the Russian Federation, and in 2013 the assembly started in South Korea.

How to determine the country of manufacture by VIN code?

VIN-code is a special digital designation, which in some way is a car passport.

With 17 digits, you can find out the history of the machine, determine the date of manufacture, country of manufacture and other parameters.

The code is based on 17 characters, consisting of numbers and Latin letters. The code does not take part "O", "Q" and "I".

It was decided to remove these letters because of the risk of confusion with zero and one.

In addition, a number of other symbols can be made from the letter "I", which also became one of the reasons for its exclusion.

The VIN code structure is divided into three components - WMI, VDS and VIS. In the first part, one can draw a conclusion about the country of manufacture, in the second, on the characteristics of the vehicle (body type, configuration, model range, etc.), and in the third part, on the year of manufacture of the car and the serial number.

By the way, the information in the 3rd part is individual and depends on the car model.

In Renault cars, the VIN code can be found in the following places:

  • On the surface of the cylinder block;
  • Under the passenger's front seat mat;
  • Bottom of the arch (near the driver's seat). To see the inscription, you have to open the doors.
  • On the passenger seat pillar (between the hinges).

Now let's take a closer look at how the VIN code is decoded for Renault cars.

The first "trinity" of characters shows the country of origin. For example, if the VIN starts with VSY or VS5, the car is made in Spain.

Turkey is characterized by the designation VF1, and for Madagascar - GA1.

If the country of origin of Renault is Russia, it also has its own code - X7L.

Other symbols speak of French assembly, namely VF1 and VF2, MTU, VNE, VF6 and VF8.

The next symbol shows the body type. So, all-wheel drive cars are marked with the letter V, rear-wheel drive - P, and front-wheel drive cars - T.

Some machines may have different designations. For example, if we are talking about a van, the fourth position will be the symbol F. If the vehicle has three doors, the letter G is written in this place.

If decoding of other body types is required, here the specification is of two types - new and old.

In the first case, station wagons and hatchbacks, which differ in the presence of three doors, are designated by the letter A and the number 3. If the car has five doors, the designation is different - 5, 6 and the symbol N.

Sedans of the new type have VIN numbers 2 or 4, and the pickup is marked with an H.

In older machines, the classification is as follows:

  • For a hatchback with three doors - C;
  • For a three-door station wagon - K;
  • For 5-door station wagon and hatchback - J and B, respectively;
  • Minivan - J and so on.

By the next symbol, you can draw conclusions about the model range. For example, in Renault Megan cars of the 1st and 2nd generation, the symbols A and M are put on this position, for Clio 2 and Laguna 2 - B and J, respectively, and Tvingo is marked with "zero" at all.

At the sixth and seventh positions, symbols are set by which you can determine the motor code.

The eighth sign is the country where the plant is located (the place where the car was produced). Only letters are used here. For example, if the car is made at a plant in the USA, the letter Z is put, Turkey - R, Flins (plant in France) - F, Spain - E or V, and so on.

The next symbol identifies the type of transmission. So, "one" and "two" indicate the presence in the car automatic box gears having three or four speed positions.

If the car is equipped with a manual transmission with five steps, symbols C, D, 4, 5, 8 are indicated.

In 2001, the letters end and the designations in the form of numbers begin. In 2010, letters appear again.

The last group of numbers is a series.

The final designation may look as follows - VF14SRAP45XXXXXXX.

Conclusion

As you can see from the article, Renault is produced in many countries. At the same time, some manufacturers work not only for the domestic market, but also for export.

Summing up, let us single out the states where the production of Renault cars is established, in relation to a specific model:

  • Duster - Russia;
  • Clio - Turkey (since 2012) and France;
  • Escape - country of origin France;
  • Kengu - France;
  • Fluence - Russia, South Korea (since 2013), Turkey;
  • Koleos is a manufacturing country South Korea;
  • Logan - Russia, AvtoVAZ, Renault-Russia, France, Turkey;
  • Master - France;
  • Laguna - country of origin France;
  • Latitude - South Korea;
  • Scenic - France;
  • Megan - manufacturing country Russia (from 2012 to 2015), Turkey (from 2002 to 2014), France (from 1996 to 2014);
  • The symbol is France (from 1998 to 2002), as well as Turkey (from 2006).

An automobile plant in the capital of the state just eight kilometers from the Kremlin is nonsense in modern world... Rent, utilities, salary costs in Moscow are a priori higher than in the regions. However, the Renault enterprise, located on the territory of the former AZLK, is not threatened yet. This winter, the Moscow government extended the plant's previous tax rates and lease payments until the end of 2020. The reorientation of the site to the production of crossovers, the added value of which is higher than that of passenger cars (the last Logans of the first generation were assembled here back in 2015). And in addition, the beginning of preparations for the production of another model speaks of the cloudless future of the plant. I managed to visit the shops with the last excursion - after that a special confidentiality regime was introduced at the enterprise, which will last until the start of production of a new machine.

The current director of the Moscow Renault plant, Jean-Louis Theron, previously worked in India and was involved in organizing the production of a budget SUV

What do we know about her? So far, alas, not much. In September last year, Renault chief designer Laurens van den Acker spoke about a new crossover that will be a "true Renault", that is, it will not become a kind of Dacia. The company calls this car C-SUV, that is, a class C crossover, and promises to show it at the upcoming Moscow Motor Show, which will open in August. During the excursion, we also managed to find out that the basis russian car the next iteration of the B0 platform (aka Global Access) will lay down - and it will become longer and wider; the plant workers did not disclose other differences from the current version.

Frame from last year's Renault presentation

The new crossover will appear not only in Russia. Po, the same version on the B0 cart will be in Brazil and China, and for South Korea the car will be transferred to a more expensive platform. By the way, in Europe, the new model will not appear due to the danger of competition with the current Renault Kadjar SUV (analog nissan models Qashqai). Based on this statement, it is easy to estimate that a certain “simplified Kadjar” awaits us, that is, a crossover slightly larger than Kashkai.

Renault Kadjar for the European market

However, there is nothing to blame Laurence van den Acker: there really is no such car in the range of the Dacia brand and will not be, and the B0 platform, I recall, was originally developed for the second generation Renault Clio hatchback.

Modernization of the plant for new crossover has already started. And the first thing the French did was to liquidate the second welding line, which was preparing bodies for the Fluence and Megane models. This suggests that cars of this class will no longer be produced in Moscow and now the entire production process at the plant can go only in one stream.

In the first quarter of this year, 46 additional Fanuc robots were installed on the welding line, almost doubling the total. The expansion of automation mainly affected the welding area of \u200b\u200bthe front body modules. In general, robots here are now responsible for welding the floor elements and for connecting it to the sidewalls: for this operation, replaceable conductors (different for each model) are installed, which automatically set the correct body geometry. Workers with manual welding "pliers" on renault plant over the past few years, it has become much less, but the degree of automation of the welding line still reaches only 24%.

By the way, the workers themselves at the enterprise are recruited according to the 50:50 principle: half of the employees are residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, and the other half are migrants from the southern republics. My own observations in the workshops confirm this proportion. The plant's management is not embarrassed by this: still, the newcomers are not so demanding of wages and related conditions of employment. The main thing, they say, is that all applicants go through the same three-month training process, only after the completion of which they are allowed to the conveyor.

Ahead of the plant is the modernization of the painting complex: it will be adapted for a larger model and robots will also be added. By the way, forced dismissals of those workers who are replaced by robots on the line are not practiced at the Renault plant: people are retrained and transferred to other posts (of which there are about a thousand), and staff reduction is provided due to the natural outflow of personnel.

Automation of the 700-meter assembly line is not planned yet, but of course additional equipment for the new SUV will appear here. In the meantime, there are three models on the conveyor: Renault Duster, Renault Kaptur and Nissan terrano (they will also remain after the start of production of the C-crossover). And I hasten to dispel the long-standing myth: there is no additional quality control and selection of components when assembling Nissan. The plant has a unified quality control standard renault-Nissan alliancewhich applies to all models. Once again for the most naive: throwing 50-70 thousand rubles for Terrano compared to a similar Duster, you pay extra exclusively for a different brand and a modified design.

On the conveyor belt, all three models alternate, in accordance with the sequence of orders received by the plant from dealers: behind the white Duster in basic configuration with unpainted bumpers and stamped wheels, a two-tone Kaptur with four-wheel drive and "full minced meat". The necessary order of supply of components is observed by the electronics, and the containers are delivered to the shops mainly by drones.

Their widespread implementation at the Renault Moscow plant began three years ago, along with the optimization of supply chains. Now the fleet of such vehicles exceeds 110 copies - they have almost completely replaced the usual loaders and transporters with operators at the wheel from the shops. Moreover, the first 90 copies were purchased in Japan, and since last year, the plant began to produce its own drones, 50% of which are Russian components! Although it is clear that the most expensive and critical electronic components are still imported. In addition, 12 of these bogies have been sent to the Lada Izhevsk plant, and this year Renault will ship 15 more copies.

The drones themselves are small, electrically driven, programmed tractors. They communicate with the central computer via Wi-Fi, hook on large carts with accessories and ride along magnetic lines laid along the floor. These things creep slowly, accompanying the process with a melody from an old Super Mario console toy. But, as the plant workers assure, the main advantage of such self-propelled guns over manned transporters is safety: they have a system automatic braking, and the number of collisions at the plant was reduced to almost zero.

The doors are removed from the bodies immediately after they enter the assembly line. They are taken to a separate workshop for assembly and hung on machines at the final stage of assembly.

As for the localization of produced cars, the company does not disclose the figure for Moscow-assembled cars, limiting itself to the general corporate result of 66%, which also takes into account the production of Logan and Sandero models at AvtoVAZ. But this is also a very solid indicator! For metropolitan crossovers, the dashboard and all plastic interior panels are localized, climatic installations, seats, bumpers, tires, wheels, radiators, fuel tanks… 1.6 engines come from Togliatti, and the lion's share of stamped parts are supplied by the Kaluga plant Gestamp Severstal and the Moscow company AAT (Alpha Automotive Technologies). This is a joint venture between ZIL and japanese company IHI, which was previously located on the territory of ZIL itself, but last year the workshop was forced to move to the Moscow district of Biryulevo. Some of the hardware comes from Romania and Turkey.

The new crossover will also have a high degree of localization. Moreover, even prototypes for sea trials will be manufactured not in France or Romania, where Renault's main development centers are located, but here in Moscow. The factory workers already have a similar industrialization experience, because the Russian enterprise two years ago became the main one for renault crossover Kaptur. The organization of production was then successful, and russian specialists after that, they were invited to lead the launch of Capture at factories in and.

Modernization and increased automation will in no way affect the capacity of the Moscow plant, which amounts to 190 thousand cars a year. More is simply not needed yet, because last year only 99 thousand cars rolled off the assembly line. Now the enterprise operates in two shifts, but not five, but four days a week; it takes 25 hours to produce one car. Preparations for the release of the new crossover will be lengthy: although the car will be presented in August, however, mass production, according to Autoreview, will begin only in 2019. And only after that it will reach Russia. So you have to be patient.
