Drive to the Paris Motor Show. Highlights from the Paris Motor Show

As they say, a holy place is never empty: Volkswagen did not arrive at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, but a sensation occurred on the letter V. Vietnamese manufacturers with the new VinFast brand settled here, it was one of the sensations.

Without false modesty, I will say that my report - the Paris Motor Show 2018, as always, is one of the most detailed. It represents all brands alphabetically and is complemented by video information from the stands, which Igor Sirin helps me to prepare.

Waiting for premieres, and they will be.

This year, 11 brands have been "changed" in Paris, for the first time there is no stand of Volkswagen and its daughters Bentley and Lamborghini. True, there are still Audi, Skoda, Seat and Porsche. Ford did not swim across the ocean. Explanation: “Instead of showrooms, we are focusing on specific presentation formats to bring news about our products, technologies and mobility concepts to the media community.” Also Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Infiniti are not visible on the stands. And even the newly acquired PSA Opel did not "steal" the show from the French owners Peugeot and Citroën. And the Swedes with Volvo, even in 2014, refused to participate in several auto shows during the year. This year, their choice fell on Geneva.

Only the Deputy General Director Jan Ptacek was from AvtoVAZ. And it is already good that we come for experience.

Audi
Audi is entering the SUV coupé segment with its Q8. The novelty, 5 meters long and 2 meters wide, is based on the Q7 and competes with the BMW X6. By the start of sales, under the hood of the 50 TDI, there will be a 3-liter diesel with 286 hp, which will accelerate the car to a hundred in 6.3 seconds at a maximum speed of 232 km / h. A 45 TDI with 231 horsepower will appear early next year. Both diesels are equipped with a urea reduction system and comply with Euro 6d Temp standards. In addition, a petrol turbocharged V6 with a capacity of 340 hp will appear at the same time.

Audi SQ2. This compact SUV picks up a hundred in 4.8 seconds and only stops accelerating at 250 on the speedometer. Its 2-liter TFSI produces 300 hp. and 400 N ∙ m in the range from 2000 to 5200 rpm.
The car is equipped with an Audi drive select stabilization system and a 7-speed gearbox dSG transmission S-Tronic with automatic gas release when switching. Drive - Quattro. At speeds up to 65 km / h in traffic jams, the car drives itself on autopilot.

Bmw
The new BMW Z4 was presented in Paris with a classic fabric convertible top.

The 4.32 m roadster has grown by 8.5 cm in comparison with its predecessor, but at the same time its wheelbase has decreased. But the wider track promises improved maneuverability. Moreover, now the weight distribution has become ideal: 50:50.

There are 3 petrol engines to choose from: the fours develop 197 and 258 hp, the six in the M40i version - 340 hp. The latter allows you to dial the first hundred in 4.5 seconds. However, the more budgetary fours are by no means inhibitory. With them, the dynamics are 6 and 7 s.
All versions have a leather interior, although the leather is different. For example, the BMW Z4 sDrive30i is Vernasca, and the BMW Z4 M40i is Alcantara. The optional windscreen can be easily fitted between the roll bars. There is not much space for suitcases - only 281 liters, although this is 50% more than the previous volume.
The sports steering has variable acuity, adaptive suspension, sports versions of the brakes and differential lock, and the instrument cluster is fully digital with two 10-inch displays.

The fourth generation BMW X5 will hit the market at the end of the year. Under the hood there will be a choice of two gasoline and two diesel engines, with the V8 remaining only for non-European countries.

Peter Schreier - Chief Designer of Kia about the new SUV DS 3 Crossback

The world premiere of the compact SUV DS 3 Crossback took place in Paris. (Recall that DS has now spun off from Citroen as a separate premium brand). In addition to four internal combustion engines, it will also have a purely electric version. This E-SUV is equipped with a 136 hp electric motor. with a torque of 260 N ∙ m. This DS 3 Crossback E-Tense reaches 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds, top speed is limited to 150 km / h. The 50 kWh batteries should be enough for 300 km if the new WLTP combined cycle mode is followed. This will be helped by the regenerative braking system, which allows up to 20% of the energy to be returned to the batteries. You can charge the car from an outlet with a supplied power of 11 kW in 5 hours. And if it produces 110 kW, then half an hour is enough.

In addition, DS Automobiles introduced the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4 × 4. It is a hybrid with a 200 hp gasoline engine. and two 109 hp electric motors. The total power reaches 300 hp, and the transmission of torque of 450 Nm is carried out through an 8-speed automatic. The 13.2 kWh underfloor lithium-ion battery provides clean electric mileage 50 km. It can be recharged from a home outlet in 8 hours, and from a 32-amp outlet in 2 hours.

Dacia duster

For Duster, two new turbocharged 130 hp TCe petrol engines appeared. and TCe 150 hp. Both 1.3 liter direct injection units are equipped with a Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF). TCe 150 HP gives out already from 1600 rpm 250 Nm. 130th - only 10 Nm less, but already from 1500 rpm.

In addition, the premiere of the Hyundai i30 Fastback took place in Paris.
In the basic version, its 2-liter turbo four develops 250 hp, the forced one - 25 more. In this case, the maximum torque for both versions is the same: 353 N ∙ m at 1450 - 4500 rpm. Although in Overboost mode, it can briefly rise to 378 Nm. The engine complies with the strict Euro 6d-Temp regulations. Fuel consumption in the old mixed cycle NEFZ Koreans promise not exceeding 7.7 or 7.8 l / 100 km.
Various settings are available for shock absorbers, steering, engine parameters, stability control, differential lock, Rev Matching and exhaust sound, all of which the driver can choose from 5 options. Hyundai body The i30 Fastback N is 11.5cm longer than the hatchback.
Let's note an interesting feature of the tachometer: its red zone adjusts itself in accordance with the current oil temperature in the engine.

Kia
Koreans unveil new 5-door Pro Ceed Shooting Brake... Outwardly, the novelty resembles the Proceed Concept, shown last year at the IAA in Frankfurt.

Pro Ceed Shooting Brake.

One more kia premiere - e-Niro electric car. This 204-horsepower unit with a 64 kWh battery can run 485 km from outlet to outlet when measured using the new WLTP standard cycle. And in the city there is enough current even for 600 km! Recall that at stops and in traffic jams, the battery is almost not consumed, and the average speed is much lower, which also greatly saves energy. If the "socket" allows you to remove the power of 100 kW, then you can replenish the battery to 80% capacity in 55 minutes. Acceleration to hundreds takes 7.8 s.
There will also be a cheaper base version with a 136 hp electric motor. and a power reserve of 312 km. This option accelerates to a hundred in 9.8 s.
Thanks to the forward-looking navigator, the novelty provides a particularly economical driving style.

Lexus
Lexus has reworked its sports coupe RC. Its design and handling are now inspired by the flagship Lexus LC. Improved aerodynamics and suspension. Gas pedal response and feedback the steering wheel became clearer.
The RC F Sport version with an exclusive radiator grille and some other exterior details is positioned separately. It has 19-inch alloy wheels and aluminum trims in the cabin.

One more special version attracts with bright yellow color. This is the Lexus LC Yellow Edition. In addition to the coloring, the package included a Head-up-Display, steering the rear wheels, a Torsen self-locking differential and a rear spoiler that extends to 80 km / h.

Mercedes-Benz
The A-class sedan has an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.22 - the lowest in the world among production cars! With a length of 4.55 m, it has a trunk of 420 liters. The wheelbase remains the same.

Initially, the A 200 with 163 hp and the 116 hp A 180 d with 7-speed DCTs will be on sale. As for the assistants, the baby focuses on the options common to the S-Klasse. Even partial autopilot is possible. AND lED headlights Multibeam is also on the list of available treats. Interestingly, an extended version will be produced for the Chinese market, which was shown in Beijing in the spring.

Mercedes-Benz GLE is another premiere of the firm in Paris. The active traffic jam assistant allows virtually unmanned driving in these conditions. A global innovation is the 48-volt E-Active Body Control active chassis. In addition, the model features outstanding aerodynamic properties.
Thanks to the wheelbase that has grown by 8 cm, the interior has become more spacious and comfortable. If desired, you can order a third row of seats.

Mercedes-Benz GLE

GLE received completely a new range motors. The base is a straight-six, also in 48-volt standard, found in the GLE 450 4Matic version. It produces 367 hp. and 500 Nm. Moreover, for a short time you can get an additional 250 Nm and 22 hp. thanks to the EQ Boost.
The E-Active Body Control chassis is a fully computer-integrated hydropneumatic suspension combined with new pneumatics. For the first time on the world market, here you can individually change the elasticity and damping on each wheel. This allows you to compensate for any vibrations and tilts of the body. All-wheel drive 4Matic can transfer 100% of the torque between the axles. For the first time from Mercedes-Benz, a trailer assist can be ordered.
Another world novelty is "hidden" in the rear seats. They can be electrically adjusted in six degrees of freedom, and even individually moved back and forth 100 mm. Trunk volume - 825/2055 l.

Peugeot
Peugeot has shown the new 508 SW at the home arena. The mid-range station wagon at 1.42 m is almost as squat as the current sedan, but 3 cm longer. But if you compare with previous generation SW, the novelty has become 5 cm shorter and 6 cm lower, which ate 30 liters of trunk volume, which now has 530/1780 liters.

Peugeot unveils new 508 SW at home

The developers paid a lot of attention to the numerous containers in the cabin. For example, the glove compartment is cooled by an air conditioner and holds two 1.5 liter bottles of drinks. The door panels can also be fitted with a liter bottle. And, finally, two half liters will fit under the center armrest (we’re not talking about vodka, don’t think badly!) In a niche near the box selector there is an inductive charging coil for smartphones. The front seats, if desired, will massage the back of the driver and passenger.
Among the assistants, we note the first in this class night vision system, a tempomat with a Stop - & - go function and a fully automatic parking sensor. The blind spot indicator can correct the position on the lane, and the daytime running lights now turn on and REAR light, which adjusts to the light.

The range of engines includes a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with two power settings and diesels of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. Transmission - 8-speed automatic with freewheel function. And in the second half of 2019, a hybrid Plug-in version will appear.

I recently tested a new one, and was interested in all-wheel drive on it, the answer was hinted to me today, putting a fellow Combo from Peugeot on the 4X4.

Porsche
The Porsche Macan celebrates its European premiere in Paris. Here it starts with a two-liter gasoline turbo four with a soot particle filter (the presence of such particles is a feature of lean-burn gasoline engines). Engine power 245 hp, torque - 370 Nm. In combination with a 7-speed PDK gearbox, this allows you to reach the first hundred in 6.7 seconds at a top speed of 225 km / h. In the old combined cycle NEFZ consumption is 8.1 l / 100 km. Tires specially developed for the novice improve lateral dynamics.
For the new Macan, the list of options includes, in particular, an autopilot for driving in traffic jams at speeds up to 60 km / h. True, he does not know how to steer, but only automatically keeps his distance and does not allow him to leave with the lane chosen by the driver.
As for the standard equipment, it includes LED headlights, proprietary PCM with online navigation and Connect Plus. Oh, yes, even an alarm with a sensor for monitoring the interior space.

Renault
Renault has brought a concept of a driverless robotic vehicle.

In addition, the updated Kadjar will debut in Paris.
The freshly spilled Kadjar features a new grille and bumpers. In the cabin, some controls have changed, for example, climate control. The center console features a 7-inch Renault R-LINK 2 infotainment system monitor.
Among the engines were two gasoline turbo engines 1.3-liter TCe 140 GPF and TCe 160 GPF. For the first time, there are also two diesel engines with a working volume of 1.5 and 1.7 liters Blue dCi 115 and Blue dCi 150 with a urea-based neutralizer.

Seat
The Spanish subsidiary of Volkswagen has expanded its range of SUV Tarraco models, which with a length of 4.74 m can even have a 7-seater saloon.
The proportions of the novelty are comparable to the Skoda Kodiaq, with which it actually shares the platform. The Tarraco is 1.84 m wide, 1.66 m high and has a 2.79 m wheelbase. Behind the electrically powered back door you can put at least 710 liters of luggage, as a maximum - up to 1920 liters.

There are 4 different engines to choose from, two petrol and two diesel. The base is a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine with 150 hp. and 250 Nm from 1500 rpm. With him, however, you will have to quite often wield the lever of the 6-speed mechanics. The 2-liter TSI with 190 horsepower and 320 Newton meters does a better job with a 1.6-ton car. Here the gears are independently manipulated by a 7-speed dSG box... Well, there are also a couple of 2-liter diesels with 140 and 190 hp. and a moment of 340 and 400 Nm.
Regardless of the engine, all Tarraco versions accelerate to a hundred in less than 10 seconds and gain over 200 km / h. The difference between them, rather, in the drive: more powerful versions are all-wheel drive, less powerful ones have only front-wheel drive.
Seat Tarraco has Internet access and a lot of assistants. New among them are the Pre-Crash and Roll-Over assistants, saving the driver from inattention and the danger of rollover.

Skoda
The Skoda Vision RS concept shows the possible appearance of the company's future compact car.

Drawn by chief designer Oliver Stefani, the Skoda Vision RS is 4.35 m long, 1.81 m wide, 1.43 m high and has a 2.65 m wheelbase.
The presented version of the Kodiaq RS (\u003d Rallye Sport) is more real. Its differences are not only in red letters, but also in the most powerful 2.0-liter TDI biturbo diesel engine with 239 hp. and with a torque of 500 Nm. The new product features LED headlights, an individually adjustable digital instrument cluster and Dynamic Sound Boost for a sporty exhaust sound.

Slightly weaker is the new Skoda Karoq Sportline with a 2-liter TSI petrol 190 hp. Externally, it differs from the standard version by a special front bumper.
Another new variant of the compact SUV is the Karoq Scout, with its typical off-road look, all-wheel drive and rough-road package.
In addition to the 1.5-liter TSI petrol with 150 hp. coupled with a 7-speed DSG, it can be ordered with 2-liter diesels of 150 and 190 hp. The first can also be obtained in combination with a 6-speed manual.
In addition, Skoda brought to Paris Octavia Combi G-Tec with a new, more powerful 130 hp 1.5-TSI engine powered by natural compressed gas. This reduces climate-damaging CO2 emissions by 25%. In addition, there is much less NOx in the exhaust and no soot particles at all. The range on gas is about 480 km. There is also an 11.8-liter gasoline tank as a reserve.

Paris Motor Show 2018: Toyota
Interview with Toyota Motor Europe CEO Dr. Johan van Ziel below.

The Japanese brought the world premiere of the Corolla Touring Sports to Paris. The European-designed station wagon will also be in a hybrid version and will feature a 3D instrument cluster, head-up display, premium audio system and wireless smartphone charging.

With a wheelbase of 2.70m, Toyota promises 9cm more seat-to-row spacing than the previous Auris Touring Sports. In addition, the center of mass is lowered, which, in combination with a wider track, offers better dynamics.
Toyota is also introducing the new Corolla. This world car will again be sold under the good old name. Well, good, otherwise the Auris could be confused with our Aurus. The car will be assembled in hatchback, sedan and station wagon bodies.

Vinfast and Paris Motor Show 2018
Like a cherry on a French cake - premiere from premieres! This is generally a new brand, founded last year in Vietnam (!). In Paris, she appeared in sedan and SUV guises, which were painted by the Italian Pinifarina. Both models are rear-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive is available for the SUV. An eight-speed automatic from ZF transmits torque to the wheels. Although the vehicles comply with the most modern international standards, local versions will not be equipped with a lane keep assist. This is quite natural considering the quality of Vietnamese roads and the manner of drivers.

Vinfast SUV presented famous footballer Beckham.

At the Paris Motor Show, VinFast received a Rising Star Award from the European Autobest Jury.

Vinfast is backed by Vingroup, one of Vietnam's largest private enterprises with an annual turnover of $ 3.8 billion. Vingroup is a leading firm in the construction and real estate sectors in the country and is also present in the fields of education, healthcare, agriculture, tourism and retail. Let's see what she can do now in the automotive industry. By the way, the head of VinFast Trading and Production LLC is not Vietnamese at all. His name is James DeLuca. And “the whole Vietnamese people” took part in the choice between the variants of car design!
Hai Phong has already built a modern car plant with a capacity of up to 500,000 cars per year. And in Germany, an electric car is already being developed for the new company.

History reference

The Paris Motor Show or Salon de l'Automobile de Paris was first held in June 1898 in the center of Paris. Technique advanced for its time was exhibited in the Tuileries Garden. The total area allocated for the event was 2.5 square kilometers. However, only a few models were presented to the eyes of the public, so the first auto show in Europe was then reacted with skepticism, including the President of France who was present at the opening ceremony.

The next auto show took place in 1901, but not in the Tuileries, but in the Grand Palaris pavilion, specially built for the world exhibition. Representatives of the French and American automotive industry... From that moment on, exhibitions began to be held annually, having to be interrupted only during periods of world wars.

Since 1946, the main auto show of Europe began to be held in another city - Frankfurt. The new exhibition alternated with the Paris one and was held only in odd years.

French manufacturers have always had a strong position in the mechanical engineering market and each time presented very outstanding examples of engineering, such as the Citroen Traction Avant and DS. In 1929, Peugeot showed the world a new model 201. In 1934, Citroen presented at the Paris Motor Show the Traction Avant, the first ever serial front-wheel drive car with a monocoque body.

At the 1949 show, Ferrari unveiled its first mass-produced car, the Ferrari 166 Inter coupe with a two-liter V12 engine with 110 to 140 horsepower. Prior to that, Ferrari was exclusively engaged in the production of racing cars.

In 1966 at the Paris Motor Show, the public saw the first production Lamborghini Miura. At the subsequent exhibition, in 1968, a new concept car from Alfa Romeo - Carabo, was noted, as well as the famous Fiat 128, later declared European Car of the Year. By the way, the 1968 Paris Motor Show was attended by a record number of people at that time - more than 1 million.

In 2016, the Paris Motor Show had about 1.2 million visitors, making it the most visited motor show in the world, significantly overtaking a similar show in Frankfurt in popularity. The area of \u200b\u200b125,000 square meters houses 8 pavilions, 260 brands from 18 countries, as well as more than 10,000 journalists from 103 countries.

Until 1986, the salon was called Salon de l'Automobile, later - Mondial de l'Automobile, in 2018 - Mondial Paris Motor Show.

History of the Paris Motor Show

The first time the event took place in the summer of 1898, right in the center of the capital of France. The advanced technology of that period was exhibited in the Tuileries - this is a beautiful Parisian garden. The exhibition was held on an area of \u200b\u200b2.5 km2. But the first show was small - the audience saw a couple of cars, which made the Europeans treat the event with a little skepticism. Even the President of France was present at the opening of the exhibition.

The event was held again two years later in 1901; the Grand Palaris pavilion was chosen for it, which was erected directly for the Paris Motor Show. The participants were French and American manufacturers. After that, it was decided to hold exhibitions annually. In 1946, an auto show was held in another region of France, the city of Frankfurt. The exhibitions alternated among themselves in odd years.

In 1029, the Peugeot brand showed the world a novelty - 201 models, and in 1934 guests of the Paris Motor Show were able to get acquainted with the first production car, which had a monocoque body and front-wheel drive. Brought him manufacturer Citroen, the model was called Traction Avant.

The 1949 exhibition became the presentation site of the first mass car from the Ferrari brand - it was a 166 Inter coupe model car, a V12 engine with two liters of fuel was installed in it, which produced up to 140 horses. It was crucial moment for Ferrari, because previously the production specialized only in racing cars.

The 1966 Paris Auto Show is famous for the first production car from Lamborghini, the Miura. In 1968, a new Carabo appeared - a conceptual version from Alfa Romeo, then the guests presented their car and Fiat, model of which is 128. It was Fiat who managed to get the title of European Car of the Year. It was the 1968 event that was distinguished by a record number of guests, which surpassed a million people.

In 2016, the event was called the Mondial Paris Motor Show, although from 1986 to 2018 it had a different name - Mondial de l'Automobile, and even earlier it was the Salon de l'Automobile exhibition.

Paris Motor Show 2017

The Motor Show in Paris has always been distinguished by a special chic inherent in the French. It was no less pretentious this season - from October 2 to October 14, 2017. As always, the show lives up to its own name - the World Auto Show. The presentation models are presented by all the world's leading body shops - European and Asian. What was the memory of the Paris Motor Show, which cars will get a "start in life", what amazed spectators and investors - read on.

In addition to directly presenting the expected models to the audience, the Paris Motor Show always finds something to surprise its own guests with. For example, this year, the end of the show was timed to coincide with the chestnut holiday - the country's national nut. Millions of dishes are prepared from it, dances, poems and odes are dedicated to it. The long tradition of the auto show in Paris attracts almost more tourists, guests and locals than car shows. In addition to the "chestnut" holiday, combined with the end of the car exhibition, the following awaited numerous participants in the Paris Motor Show:

  • Sensations from Peugeot.
  • Presentation of new sub-brands from German engineers.
  • New electric cars from famous brands.
  • Elite cars.

The splendor of the Paris Motor Show was emphasized by the invited girls representing the model of a particular country. The level of the holiday of world significance was met.

To evaluate each model presented, we offer you an overview of the new products of the Paris Motor Show. As usual, the first to be presented are national brands as hosts of the exhibition:

New Duster

Even before the start of the exhibition, the global French brand announced the popular crossover model as classified. Indeed, the tabloids did not manage to learn anything about the car that could be interpreted as the introduction of new technology into the power units or a fundamentally changed body and interior design. This fueled the interest of brand lovers who want to get to the auto show in Paris. What is in reality?

Disappointment with the appearance of the car became somewhat premature - the media in the early days of the Paris Motor Show tried to stir up a scandal by advertising it as a restyled version previous model... Citing the fact that the Romanian firm Dacia completely copied the famous "Frenchman". However, only the branded icon of the brand has become an analogue - there are differences, and significant ones:

  • Completely redesigned body panels and a tailgate. From this, the crossover has become more muscular, truly masculine.
  • The styling of the head optics and the radiator grille under the Jeep Renegade delighted SUV lovers.
  • No less impressive are the rear dimensions, reminiscent of a small arms sight.
  • By reducing the sill line, the internal volume of the machine has increased. Now luggage compartment can accommodate more than 600 kg of cargo, the height of the cabin allows passengers to feel in complete comfort.
  • The power unit received two clutches and a six-speed robotic automatic transmission. This will make the model more expensive, however, comfort and safety, given the realities of the "stone jungle", are worth it.
  • Finishing materials can no longer be mistaken for budget - high quality, anti-static, easy cleaning.

Naturally, the design changes also affected the control panel - the architecture is nothing like the old one. Serially, the car will be presented in four trim levels, however, even "premium" models are quite affordable. Of course, the new update of this car is worth waiting for at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.

Peugeot 3008 DKR

An exhibit was exhibited at the show, without which the equally pretentious Paris Dakar Rally cannot do. This is a Peugeot 3008 DKR built specifically for racing. Naturally, it will not go into the series, however, interest in it as an SUV is increased. According to guests, racing enthusiasts, this novelty of the 2017 Paris Motor Show has overtaken its analogues for many years to come, which is why the driver, given his skill, is guaranteed a medal place in the races.

Renault Trezor

Another highlight at the 2017 Paris Auto Show. The futuristic design of the car is a claim for the future of the French car industry. The low concept car features a folding hood, autonomous driving and powerful electric drive. The two-seater car has already earned the status of an elite model.

Foreign models at the Paris Motor Show

Naturally, the world auto show will not do without "overseas" representations. Considering that the auto show in Paris is comparable only to the Frankfurt Motor Show - only the best and newest examples from well-known body shops are exhibited for the guests' judgment. We have selected the most interested in the public:

Volkswagen ID

Judging by this novelty of the Paris Motor Show, the German car industry is seriously engaged in the development of family electric cars. The first long-range hatchback will eventually displace traditional liquid-fuel vehicles from the road. The hydrogen engine is also being improved - previous European exhibitions have shown consumer interest in german cars on environmentally friendly fuel.

Bmw x2

The car, according to the tabloids, is a real competitor to the Range Rover evoque... The low roof, combined with small windows, make the crossover sporty. The corresponding filling is appreciated by many - in 2018, the car was massively sold.

The concern also showed at the Paris Motor Show the models recognized and put into series. These are the BMW i3 and BMW i8 Garage Italia Crossfade. What's new about them? This is a special painting technology, when one shade passes into another, making the car look unearthly in the spotlights or night city lighting. To match the paintwork and interior color, including upholstery and plastic parts.

Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ

The flagship of the electric era of the German car industry was also presented at the Paris Motor Show. A mileage of 500 km, stylish design and unique appearance allow it to be included in serial production until 2025 - such is the demand for the presented model. The first sales are scheduled for fall 2019.

Audi Q5

From previous version SUV, new model presented at the Paris Auto Show, it is distinguished by its light chassis and five-link suspension. In general, the Audi Q5 is a hybrid of the power of a supercar and the practicality of an urban SUV. Power 450 hp from. commands respect.

Lexus UX concept

The Japanese auto industry also met the expectations of visitors to the Paris Auto Show - all investors are following it with interest. The Japanese are gushing with ideas, many of which become the unattainable dream of other concerns. An example of this is the Lexus UX concept car, which became one of the sensations at the Paris Motor Show. The car looks sharp and angular, as befits a SUV. The interior design is hi-tech with innovative technologiesintertwined with traditional motives.

Nissan micra

The most controversial car from the Japanese concern, which also debuted at the Paris Auto Show. The small body and the life-affirming color immediately fell in love with the fair sex. The men accepted the show model condescendingly. And in vain ... Behind the bright "wrapper" is quite a "beast" hiding, because this is a Japanese quality, therefore, power, power units, safety and working resource are always at their best. However, the car was not rated highly given the majority of male voices.

Seat Ateca X-perience

Another novelty at the Paris Motor Show is an all-wheel drive hit from Spanish manufacturers with a powerful turbodiesel and brutal appearance... The car appeared as a result of successful experiments with another SUV model. Now the car poses a real "threat" to the popularity of the Qashqai. And given the fact that sales will begin in 2018, it is able to completely displace a competitor from the market.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce

And finally, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce, the most anticipated car at the Paris Auto Show, according to readers of the European magazine covering the event - Autocar. The model became the winner in the People's Vote nomination and surpassed such giants as Ferrari, Land Rover, Porsche in new bodies and modifications. Of course, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce belongs to the premium and whether it will go into the series is still unknown.
