Audi offers its customers two eco-friendly alternatives in the middle class: the new A4 Avant g-tron and the new A5 Sportback g-tron. Both models are powered by a 170 hp 2.0-TFSI dual-mode engine. It runs on the climate-friendly Audi branded fuel e-gas, methane (CNG = compressed natural gas) or petrol.
The Audi A4 Avant g-tron and A5 Sportback g-tron advertise practicality: their range is 950 km, of which up to 500 km on gas.
The 2.0 TFSI engine develops 170 hp. and a torque of 270 Nm. A4 Avant g-tron with S tronic gearbox consumes a hundred in mixed cycle 3.8 kg of gas, while CO2 emissions are 102 g / km. On gasoline, respectively, 5.5 l / 100 km and 126 g / km.
In the case of the 6-speed manual transmission, the A5 Sportback g-tron accelerates to a hundred in just 8.5 seconds, the top speed is 226 km / h (A4 Avant g-tron: 223 km / h).
When the pressure in the tank drops to 10 bar (corresponding to a remaining gas of 0.6 kg), the engine automatically switches to petrol. The most environmentally friendly, however, is to drive Audi e-gas. It is synthesized from water and CO2 or organic waste such as straw or foliage. Then Audi e-gas absorbs just as much CO2 from the atmosphere as it later emits while driving.

Bentley The Continental GT is the mass production model for this brand. Next year, the next generation will appear, already presented today in Frankfurt. GT dropped 200 kilos, while the power of its W12 increased to 635 hp. So now acceleration to the first hundred will take less than 4 seconds, and in total you can submerge it as much as 330 km / h. Other innovations include a new set of assistants, huge displays and a 48-volt on-board network.
Bmw
BMW unveils updated GT (Gran Turismo), combining sedan ride comfort top class and coupé aesthetics. The widespread use of aluminum and high-strength steels has reduced weight in comparison with its predecessor by 150 kg.
Together with the improved aerodynamics, increased power and efficiency of the new engines, this has added sportiness and at the same time increased efficiency. Acceleration to 100 km / h was reduced by 0.7 s, depending on the engine. Fuel consumption has decreased by 15%. The standard equipment includes a rear air suspension with automatic clearance control.
The length of the car increased by 87 mm to 5091 mm, the height decreased by 21 mm to 1538 mm. The width remains unchanged (1902 mm).
The drag coefficient has dropped from 0.29 to 0.25 thanks to active air intake valves and other measures: Air Curtains, Air Breather and an automatic spoiler.
The engines of the new BMW 6er Gran Turismo are equipped with TwinPower Turbo technology and are combined with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. The 2-liter BMW 630i Gran Turismo develops 258 hp. and 400 Nm. This provides acceleration to hundreds in 6.3 seconds with an average fuel consumption of only 6.6 l / 100 km.
The 3.0-liter inline diesel produces 265 hp. and 620 Nm. With it, the BMW 630d xDrive GT accelerates in 6.0 seconds with a consumption of just 5.3 l / 100 km.
The updated X3 has not changed much in appearance, except that the nostrils are slightly flared. Yes, the fog lights are now not round, but hexagonal. But a lot of new things under the hood. For the first time in this family there was a version "M". So, the X3 M40i extracts 360 hp from its inline three-liter six. and accelerates to hundreds in 4.8 s. And in 2020, the X3 will be the first non-i-line model with a pure electric drive.
But the i3 electric car has already been redesigned. Now the batteries are 33 kWh lithium-ion batteries. Which theoretically should provide a range of 300 km in the regular version or 280 km in the sporty i3s. The latter has 14 hp. more, and the clearance, on the contrary, is reduced.

Bmw alpina The D5 S is the world's most powerful production diesel car today! Its in-line 3-liter six delivers between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm. (and this in itself is unusual for a diesel engine!) 388 hp And the torque at 1750 - 2650 rpm. reaches 800 newtonometers.
D5 S accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.4 s, and to 200 km / h in 17 s. The maximum speed is 286 km / h. At the same time, in the standard combined cycle, i.e., with a quiet ride, 6.6 liters are enough for 100 km of run. The all-wheel drive diesel car has a sports chassis, differential lock, a "driver sensation switch" (that's right!) And an 8-speed sports automatic from ZF. The D5 S is available in sedan and station wagon bodies. From November, the diesel supercar will be available in Europe for € 87,900.
Brabus
Brabus showed the Rocket 900 supercabriolet based on the Mercedes-Benz S 65. Surprisingly, it got road clearance. Judge for yourself: 900 hp, 1500 Nm, 3.9 s to hundreds and the maximum speed indicated as "over 350 km / h". These parameters make the car the world's fastest 4-seater convertible with a clearance.
This was achieved by increasing the displacement of the V12 from 6 to 6.3 liters. Crazy power is transmitted to the rear wheels (!) Through a specially modified seven-speed DSG gearbox. In this case, it had to reach 4200 rpm. limit the torque at 1200 Nm.
The Brabus Rocket 900 6.3 V12 can be purchased as a complete unit or as a conversion order on an existing Mercedes-Benz S 65 Cabriolet. Appetite? Healthy: 13.9 l / 100 km. in a standard mixed cycle. At maximum speed, it is probably limitless.
Chery
Chery launches into European markets with a new compact SUV.
Chery will test the chances of selling new cars in key markets for private and corporate clients. In addition, it is planned to open new research and design centers in Europe.

Dacia brought perhaps the most interesting world premiere for us, Duster. The new SUV has a modern design that further emphasizes the robust character of the model. So, the headlights are shifted outward, which makes the car visually wider. Daytime running lights, divided into 3 segments, also decorate the car.
The radiator grill has been replaced, the silver protection at the bottom has been increased. It is made of a more durable material that is scratch resistant.
The windshield has moved 10 cm forward and tilted more than before. This has increased the internal volume. Interior materials are more expensive, there is also an Internet connection.
Despite all the innovations, the Duster 2 will remain an affordable and functional all-terrain vehicle for every day.

Ferrari has brought a new GT model Portofino. Its V8 turbo engine develops 600 hp, which is enough to reach 320 km / h and accelerate to a hundred in 3.5 seconds. The Ferrari Portofino is the most powerful convertible with a relatively spacious cabin for two riders in the front and two more in the back for short trips.
The new chassis is much lighter than its predecessor California T. The Signature Design Center prides itself on the Two-Box body - new to the coupe-cabriolet with a hidden hardtop.
Special emphasis was placed on comfort with an infotainment system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, 18-degree-of-freedom electrically adjustable front seats and climate control that works even with the roof down! Wind deflector reduces cab air flow and noise by 30%.

Ford brought several new products, but all of them are only of the European level, the Americans are already familiar.
Ford Mustang has become sleeker, faster and more modern, for nothing that a classic. It has a more powerful V8, a modified chassis and a lot of electronic assistants. The 5.0 liter engine is boosted to an impressive 450 Mustangs. In addition to this engine, there is also a more familiar one for Europeans. A 2.3-liter direct injection petrol turbo four, which also develops a decent 290 hp. The 10-speed automatic with instant gear changes is also new.
In the list of options, shock absorbers with MagneRide system, also instantly responsive to quality road surface... In addition to the already well-known driving modes "Normal", "Sport", "Track" and "Rain / Snow", there has appeared an unusual freely configurable by the driver "My Mode" and "Drag", with which a cannon shot from a traffic light is guaranteed in less than 4 seconds before hundreds.
Assistants are quite familiar to modern Europeans, a 12-inch display reigns on the dashboard. The Ford SYNC 3 voice control system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An additional 8-inch touch screen is used for it.
For the first time, the Ford EcoSport gets a version with all-wheel drive and a new 1.5-liter 125-horsepower EcoBlue turbo diesel. And the front-wheel drive variants are equipped with an award-winning 1-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine tuned to 100, 125 or 140 hp. In addition to all this, a sports version of the model with the ST index appeared.
The Ford Tourneo Custom has been fitted with a particularly flexible cabin for 9 people. It is the only model in the segment to feature 6 separate seats in the second and third rows that can be deployed to accommodate meetings. It also has improved climate control, 6 USB ports and a ten-speaker audio system.
The power unit is based on a 170-horsepower EcoBlue turbodiesel and a high-speed 6-speed SelectShift automatic. The rear axle air suspension provides excellent rider comfort.
Honda
Honda unveils 2018 Jazz for the first time in Europe model year... In addition to new design elements, it can be ordered with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine i-VTEC 130 hp

Hyundai has unveiled three new products: the Lifestyle SUV Kona, the High-Performance i30 N sports car, the i30 Fastback five-door sports coupe.
Kona expands its current SUV portfolio of Tucson, Santa Fe and Grand santa Fe down. This is the first Hyundai model in Germany with a head-up display. It will offer two gasoline direct injection turbo engines with 120 and 177 hp by launch this fall. Brand new diesel with two settings expected in 2018 maximum power... But the motors under the hood are only 4-cylinder, and they are installed across. It has carbon fiber seats, rollover protection and a crossbar for attaching seat belts. A total of 300 of these cars will be produced, and all of them are left-hand drive. 180,000 euros - and one of them may be yours already in the middle of 2018.
The new flagship of the XJ line, the Jaguar XJR 575, has essentially the same figure eight under the hood, only tuned to deliver 575 hp. Its maximum speed is 300 km / h, and the dynamics are 4.4 s to hundreds.

Kia Picanto X-Line is a new version of the small car firms. The X-Line has a crossover look inspired by the Sportage and Sorento designs. Such a Picanto received a ground clearance increased by 15 mm (up to 156 mm) and eye-catching exterior details such as black fenders. A higher seating position gives the driver better visibility.

Finally, the third new addition to the family will be the especially premium Insignia Exclusive. It features a 'High Gloss-Black' finish with a high-gloss black radiator grille and the same edging for windows, mirrors and more. As standard, the Navi 900 Intelli-Link navigator with 8-inch touchscreen, sun glasses and Intelli- matrix headlights Lux-LED-Matrix.
The Country-Tourer also features a lighter chassis, an updated assistant kit and matrix headlights on 32 IntelliLux LED segments.
Standard equipment now includes the premium FlexRide suspension, hill start assist, front camera with pedestrian recognition, automatic braking in the city, lane keeping system, high beam autoamt, automatic tunnel recognition, including low beam, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and engine start and flexibly adjustable seats.
To increase the luggage compartment, the second row folds in three at the touch of a button in a ratio of 40:20:40. Then the volume increases to 1665 liters.
The most powerful gasoline turbo engine develops 260 hp. and mates with the new 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. The most powerful turbodiesel develops 170 hp. and can also be paired with four-wheel drive.
For road trips, the ground clearance is increased by 25 mm, there is a Torque Vectoring torque distribution system and a new five-link rear suspension.
In the light van segment, Opel has introduced a new version of the Vivaro Tourer, a passenger version with second row seats that can move and rotate 180º, USB connectors, 220 V socket and LEDs in the ceiling. In addition, a fold-out table and 360º swivel chairs are available in the Vivaro Tourer Vans version.
Porsche
Porsche has shown the third generation Cayenne.
Despite numerous changes in aluminum clothing, the overall ideology of the line has not changed. Initially, Porsche will offer only two uprated 340 hp petrol turbo engines. with a torque of 450 Nm and 440 hp. and 550 Nm. The Cayenne S will accelerate to a hundred in less than 5 seconds. In December, the car can be purchased for 75,000 euros and more.
The new 911 GT2 RS will be significantly more expensive (285,220 euros). Its 700 hp engine. is able to accelerate the "car" up to 340 km / h, and the first hundred will be changed by the speedometer in 2.8 seconds!
Renault
Renault Mégane RS stands out with its wide rear and diffuser. The 1.8-liter turbo engine is borrowed from the new Renault-Alpine and produces an impressive 280 horses.
In addition, the French decided to bring an Alaskan pickup truck from Africa to the European market. The technical brother of Nissan Navara will be on sale very soon.
Seat
Seat has brought the world premiere of the small SUV Arona, which will go on sale on November 11th. But horse lovers under the hood will be delighted with the new Cupra R, which will be released in only 799 copies. Its engine produces 310 hp. in version with mechanical box gears and 300 hp. with automatic DSG.
In addition, at the stand of the company you can see the Ibiza, which was launched only in June, the facelifted Leon and sports versions of other models of the brand.
Skoda
Skoda Karoq is an SUV with character.
For the first time in a car of this brand, a digital instrument cluster is used, and the LTE module and the SKODA Connect system provide Internet access. The novelty has dimensions of 4.382 x 1.841 x 1.605 mm. At the same time, the wheelbase of 2.638 mm provides room for passengers. The trunk holds from 521 to 1630 liters of luggage. The rear seats are made in the form of three separate seats (VarioFlex system) that can be moved, folded or even removed from the car separately. If you leave only the driver's seat inside, then the free volume will be 1.810 liters!
The smartphone compartment not only provides contactless charging, but also communicates with the external antenna on the roof, so that reception is always perfect even when the battery is completely discharged.
SKODA KAROQ has a lot of assistants: parking sensors, lane keeping, automatic driving in a traffic jam, city emergency brake with pedestrian recognition. LED headlights and lamps.
There are 5 engines to choose from, ranging from 115 to 190 hp, of which two are gasoline and three are diesel. The working volumes of the motors are 1.0, 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 liters. Except for the most powerful diesel engine, the rest of the engines can be mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic. At the same time, the 2.0 TDI version with 190 hp. has a four-wheel drive and only the above machine.
The chassis of the novelty allows the driver to choose one of the Normal, Sport, Eco, Individual or Snow modes (for the 4 × 4 version).
Skoda Kodiaq Sportline and Kodiaq Scout are new versions of the crossover from the Czech Republic. The Sportline is addressed to customers who value sporty elegance, while the Scout emphasizes the off-road character of the model.
The Sportline is 4.70 meters long and stands on 19- or even 20-inch wheels with anthracite black rims, as well as the radiator grille and mirror housings and rails. Tinted rear side windows and even lanterns. Under the hood, you can choose from 2 petrol and 2 diesel engines with outputs ranging from 150 to 190 HP. The interior has sports seats with silver stitching and leather upholstery. The pedals are made of stainless steel, behind the steering wheel are the control lobes for the DSG gearbox. Well, for show-off, the instruments show the oil temperature, acceleration and boost pressure. There is also a stopwatch to collect statistics of your rider's success.
The Kodiaq Scout is only a centimeter longer than the basic version, but it can have up to 7 seats and is equipped with all-wheel drive. There is engine protection, and the motors themselves are the same as those of the Sportline. There are also additional devices here, but they show the steering wheel angle, altitude, oil temperatures and direction of travel (compass).
Smart
Smart Vision EQ Fortwo is an electric concept, and from now on all battery-powered cars will be designated by these two letters EQ. Well, the specific feature of this kid was not the electric drive itself with a power reserve of up to 250 km, but the autopilot for the increasingly fashionable car sharing. As soon as you need a car, you just need to call it from your smartphone and now it is in front of you WITHOUT A DRIVER!
Ssangyong
Ssangyong rexton fourth generation has become longer and wider than its predecessor, its wheelbase has also grown to 2.87 m. So from November you will be noticeably more spacious in this SUV if you find 30,900 euros.
Trunk volume is 820/1977 l. The ".2-liter turbodiesel with 181 hp" pulls forward. As an alternative to 6-speed mechanics, a 7-speed automatic developed by Mercedes-Benz appeared. And with the drive, there is also a choice: you can limit yourself to only the rear, or you can take the option with a plug-in all-wheel drive.
There is no shortage of electronics on board: front and rear parking sensors, rain and high beam sensors, heated front glass, rear view camera, touch screen, speakerphone and smartphone integration via Apple Carplay or Android Auto. There is also an emergency braking system, lane departure tracking, road sign recognition, high beam automatic.
Subaru
Subaru has brought the second generation XV to Frankfurt. For the first time in Europe, it is based on the firm's global platform. The 4.47 m long crossover will go on sale in November at a price of 22,980 euros.
For the first time, the novelty has received an all-wheel drive system X-Mode. The renowned boxer engine has been redesigned and now draws 114 hp from its 1.6-liter displacement. The Funkfurt Motor Show kicked off in Germany - one of the most important motor shows of the year, where leading car manufacturers talk about what people will drive both in the near future and in the distant future. The show has already opened here for the 67th time: the event alternates with the Paris Motor Show and takes place every two years. By tradition, journalists were the first to familiarize themselves with all the novelties, but from September 14, having paid 14 euros for a ticket, everyone will be able to evaluate the exhibits on wheels.
New cars in the old format
Despite the growing criticism of the ossified format of car dealerships, the exhibition has opened and is being held in its traditional form: well-known brands present their premieres and significant novelties in the prescribed manner and within tight time frames. Even if it does not sound very modern, but so far advanced humanity has not invented any other way to show the future of the whole industry in a couple of days.
This time the event was decided to skip such brands as Nissan, Volvo, Peugeot, DS, Fiat, Alfa romeo, Jeep, Infiniti and Mitsubishi, which together account for about 20% of European sales.
There are many reasons for this - from pragmatic savings (participation in such image shows costs hundreds of thousands of euros) to unwillingness to compete with German brands, which traditionally receive the maximum attention of guests at a home auto show. Someone preferred to hold separate presentations of their main models, and someone to be patient until the October International Motor Show in Tokyo.
Despite such losses in the ranks, about 50 brands brought their world premieres and novelties to Frankfurt, and some of them have good prospects to be in Russia.
Nevertheless, the main trend is that ubiquitous electrification traditionally bypasses Russia, where the market is still being pulled up by inexpensive models.
German domination
The most impressive at the exhibition was a separate Mercedes-Benz pavilion, resembling from the inside a multi-level palace in the shape of a spiral, climbing the steps of which you can find, for example, one of the most expensive concept cars in the world - a supercar Mercedes-AMG Project One, which is built using Formula 1 technology. A total of 275 copies will be made and all of them already have orders - the price of a design miracle is about 2.275 million euros.

At the VW show, the I.D. CROZZ ll - its previous version has already been shown at the Shanghai Motor Show. The electric car is equipped with a 306 hp engine. and has a power reserve of up to 500 km on a single battery charge.

Auto business in Russia has become dependent on state support

This, in particular, "Gazeta.Ru" said the head of the Volkswagen Group in Russia Markus. Over the 10 years of the brand's operation in Russia, the concern has invested 1.75 billion euros, of which about 500 million euros in the crisis year of 2014, and is now assessing its future prospects.
“The car business in Russia is actually not very profitable,” Ozegovich told Gazeta.Ru. - Producers are still highly dependent on aid and government policies and have not reached the point where they can be completely independent and competitive in the international arena. It is very worrying that the state is getting more and more immersed in the details of the automotive business.
Officials want specific, very specific things. And very often it turns out that the reasons for these desires are not business logic or profit, but political motives.
Currently, the strategy for the development of the Russian auto industry is being finalized, which will include mechanisms of state support and simulation of the auto business. But in many respects, our logic differs from what the state proposes - we believe that the Russian auto industry cannot exist separately from the world one, without being a part of it in terms of components and technologies. It is impossible to simply say - we will produce everything ourselves and will only export. But it is very difficult to realize this in the current political situation ”.
According to Ozegovich, the concern cannot yet confidently announce new models for Russia or plans for their production and localization, since too much depends on what business conditions will be spelled out in the final version of the Automotive Development Strategy, the adoption of which is constantly being postponed.
At the same time, speaking about the prices for cars in Russia, Ozegovich said that they are still too low. “I understand that people in Russia think that cars are too expensive and prices are constantly growing. But we need to assess inflation and the depreciation of the ruble, which we have seen over the past few years.
Compared to world prices, cars in Russia are still too cheap. Purchasing power, wages have dropped significantly due to the crisis. But prices have not caught up with the current inflation rate, besides, we are all dependent on the prices of raw materials and materials that are sold for dollars and euros. "
The marketing director of Kia Motors Rus also announced to Gazeta.Ru that the prices for cars in Russia will continue to grow gradually.
