The profile of the body and stern of the Japanese novelty (more a minivan than a crossover) is not as expressive as the front part, but there are some bright details. The side doors and rear fenders are decorated with powerful ribs that give the body a dynamic look, athletic embossing over wheel arches add solidity, the high, ascending to the stern line, together with the sloping roof line, provide the car with a sporty profile. The rear part of the body is perhaps the most inconspicuous: a compact bumper, a tailgate with an X-shaped stamping, pointed marker lights of a dashing shape.

In fact, there are no numbers and data yet, but you can evaluate the interior of the model, which, by the way, only causes a sad smile.
Firstly, there is no trace of the stylish interior of the concept. Everything in the cabin is traditional and modest, one might even say on a budget. Straightforward dashboard and center console, analogue instrument panel with color screen on-board computer, a simple steering wheel (plus adjustment of the steering column in height and depth), a modest-sized color screen of the multimedia system, an air conditioning control unit with large handles, budget finishing materials (hard plastic, fabric on the seats). The interior is somewhat refreshed by the combined trim (dark top, light bottom) and decorative wood inserts on the dashboard and door cards.
IN maximum trim levels the new conditionally 7-seater compact cross-van will delight the presence of the system keyless entry Keyless and Start button / Stop engine, electric drive of all side windows and rear-view mirrors, Hill Assist Control system, lighting equipment with Follow Me Home function (headlights and lights go out 30 seconds after the doors are closed), a multimedia system with a 6-inch touchscreen color display (music, navigation, rear camera species), 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP.
Secondly, as mentioned above, the 7-seater salon is only conditionally. The compact dimensions of the body do not allow organizing a convenient arrangement for all passengers in three rows. There is enough space in the first row, there is already a lack of legroom in the second row, but in the third row ... in a word, even children have barely enough space.

According to preliminary information, the official premiere of the Mitsubishi Komorebi Concept will take place in 2016 at the Tokyo Motor Show, where the full technical characteristics of the new car and the estimated prices for serial versions Japanese cars.
In recent years, the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors has been mainly engaged in the creation of crossovers and SUVs, forgetting about compact and midsize cars. The Romanian artist Gabor Farkas has already suggested several times possible options design for the new Mitsubishi Colt, Mitsubishi lancer and Mitsubishi Galant, but the Japanese were not interested in these works. The Mitsubishi Komorebi concept, judging by insider information, became interesting to the management of the Japanese company, and it is likely that the prototype will soon turn into serial models new generations Lancer and Galant.
Appearance The new conceptual development is based on a new design philosophy called Komorebi (the sun's rays filtering through the leaves of the trees). Oh, this Japanese philosophy is not easy to understand. In fact, the Romanian designer tried to show the connection between the sun's rays, tree leaves and metal body parts, while not forgetting about the past generations of the legendary Mitsubishi Galant.
In practice, the new concept turned out to be very original and attractive, demonstrating a dynamic and sporty silhouette of a five-door body with a long hood, an ideal roof dome, large side doors with a high sill and compact windows, impressive wheelbase dimensions and a neat stern.
The authentic front and rear parts of the new conceptual five-door hatchback make it impossible to doubt that this is a car from the Japanese company Mitsubishi.
The natural perception of sunlight and leaves finds its place in the interior design of the prototype. One has only to pay attention to the shape of the dashboard and the screen of the multimedia system, air ducts on the front panel and door cards - large and small leaves of trees. Sunshine - LED lighting for all work tools and LED ambient lighting for the interior.
Of course, it's too early to talk about the configuration and prices, about the level of equipping the car with systems that ensure the comfort and safety of passengers and the driver, however, as well as about technical characteristics... We can only assume that in the serial version new Mitsubishi Lancer and Mitsubishi Galant will get the choice between 2WD front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive 4WD, petrol 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4, and 3.0 liter engines, 6-speed gearboxes (mechanics and automatic), CVT variator and even a hybrid setup.
Security will be guarded by 9 airbags, a frontal collision warning system, an automatic braking system, assistants monitoring the blind spots of the rear-view mirrors and unauthorized crossing of the marking line, an automatic valet parking, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic view system and you never know. you can still think of.
Motorists can only hope and expect that very soon there will be absolutely new, high-tech and modern Japanese innovations from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in the class of compact and midsize sedans and hatchbacks.

Mitsubishi pajero
Following the ASX, the new Mitsubishi models in 2018 will be presented by Pajero - a stylish, roomy, comfortable and powerful SUV that enjoys unlimited popularity in our country. The update will also affect the Sport version.
The car will retain its dimensions, as well as an aggressive look. Minor revisions will take place with the front, which, following all other models, will be X-shaped. The exterior will be more rounded. On the side, the novelty will receive a large glass area, as well as a high-quality footrest. The rear view of the car will change dramatically, thanks to the new shape of the optics.
Inside, the car will continue to shine with comfort and a lot of functionality. Everyone will be able to choose for himself the interior configuration that he can afford and will satisfy all his needs. But everyone will definitely receive excellent multifunctional chairs, multimedia and audio systems, a large number of security systems and assistants.
The engines offered with the car will become significantly more powerful. This change will affect both diesel and gasoline modifications. Also, improvements will occur in the suspension, brakes and gearbox, thanks to which the car will become even better on the road and off-road.
In our country, the restyled Pajero will be offered at a price of 2.5 million for the default version.
Mitsubishi L200
One of the most popular pickups in Russia, L200, will also be slightly transformed. The design of the model will be very different from other representatives of the brand, but not from the previous version. The car will still be long, high ground clearance, different shape cabins and large luggage compartment capable of carrying more than a ton of cargo.
As mentioned earlier, L200 will only slightly change externally. All major improvements will affect the front end, which will acquire a large number of air intakes for both the engine and brake system... Several protective elements will also be added, making overcoming off-road conditions much easier and safer. The car in the back will change slightly. Here the body will be slightly raised so that it is easy to place a spare tire under the bottom without losing ground clearance.
They decided not to touch the interior decoration of the novelty much, since it fully satisfied all the requirements for comfort and convenience. After all, in this car, the interior is not at all important. Here you can still see materials in decoration that are not bad for their cost, comfortable chairs in two rows, good safety and functionality.
Unfortunately, the car will come to our country with only one version of the engine compartment decoration - a diesel 2.4. All you can choose here is the type of gearbox: manual for six modes or automatic for five.
The L200 is expected closer to April 2018 at a price of about 1.6 million for the basic configuration.
Mitsubishi outlander
A wave of changes will reach the urban crossover - Outlander. For him, there were not so many improvements prepared as for other cars - the front part has changed slightly, several reliefs have appeared on the side, and from the back from the new one can only find the shape and location of the exhaust system.
The interior will remain at the same level, only the materials will become slightly better. But there is also a pleasant moment - the scatter of functionality by configurations will change, thanks to which the car will be quite tolerable already in the database.
The choice of engines will remain the same - all the same gasoline devices for 2, 2.4 and 3 liters, which are paired with the robot.
The cost of the car will rise slightly - standard version equipment is already estimated at 1.5 million.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
In 2018, Mitsubishi cars 2018 will be replenished with the famous Eclipse, only in a slightly different form. From a sports coupe, the car will turn into a crossover with a very interesting design. In terms of equipment, the model will take a place between Outlander and ASX.
Over the entire area of the body, you can find more relief, which is represented by all kinds of air intakes, recesses, protrusions and other elements.
Unfortunately, new model will not please the owners really powerful motors... Under the hood of the crossover, it will be possible to find either a 1.5-liter gasoline unit producing 120 forces, or a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 160 forces.
The model will enter our market closer to the beginning of 2018 at a price of 1 million rubles.
Mitsubishi Grand Lancer
And on this sedan Japanese company counts the most, because before that Lancer accounted for most of the sales.
Externally, the car is quite similar to previous version- Lancer X. There is only a new front end with the already known X-shaped bumper, with different optics and with an updated form of the radiator grille. The side section did not receive any changes at all, but the rear began to look more sporty, thanks to new optics, as well as a diffuser and exhaust.
The salon has radically changed, in which nothing remains at all from past modifications. Completely different materials, new anatomically shaped chairs with a lot of adjustments and settings, a multimedia steering wheel and much more can be found inside the novelty. The basic equipment will also please, where there is now an air conditioning system, a rear camera, engine start with a button, an excellent multimedia system and more.
Under the hood, Lancer will only have a petrol 1.8, which develops a capacity of 140 "horses". Only the variator is available from the transmission.
To get a new Lancer, you will need to replenish the account of the Mitsubishi dealership for 1.2 million for the basic version and 1.6 for the advanced version.

In the spy photos, it is noticeable that the front of the car has become more massive, and the optics have become more voluminous. In the technical part, everything has remained the same: the choice of the consumer is offered by gasoline engines with a volume of 2.0; 2.4 and 3.0 liters. with automatic transmission... The updated Outlander version will be released closer to the end of 2017, and the estimated price in the basic configuration will be approximately 1.5 million rubles.
Mitsubishi ASX: cardinal improvements
Mitsubishi ASX will go on sale in early 2018. At the moment, the development of the model is almost complete, and even from spy photos in camouflage, it is noticeable that the novelty has borrowed the exterior from its predecessor. The ASX will continue to have a massive front end with a prominent grille, triangular optics and a voluminous bumper. The interior will boast the following elements:
- 6-inch touchscreen display;
- an innovative air conditioning system;
- 3-spoke steering wheel with adjustments;
- informative electronic board with indication of the main parameters.
The choice of the consumer is offered both gasoline and diesel power units with a volume of 1.6 to 2.4 liters. Over time, it is planned to equip the ASX with a hybrid installation. How will Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross please?
The intermediate niche between Outlander and ASX is full-size crossover Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, which the manufacturer has already presented to the public at Geneva Motor Show... When creating the model, the Outlander platform was used, as a result of which both models received almost identical wheelbases (2700 mm). The exterior of the novelty is quite ordinary, but the three branded diamonds on the radiator grill leave no doubt about the manufacturer. The salon has introduced such elements as:

XM - a new class from Mitsubishi
Considering the new Mitsubishi 2019-2020, it is worth mentioning the unique XM model, which combines the characteristics of a crossover and a minivan. The desire of designers to create a symbiosis of demanded classes is commendable, however, as practice shows, such models are not in great demand in the market. The XM's exterior is austere, aggressive and in many ways similar to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Nothing is known about the size of the new item, but for three rows of seats you will need at least 4.5 m in length, as well as a large wheelbase(presumably it will be borrowed from the Outlander). Everything in the cabin will be ergonomic, functional and stylish:

- 2-zone climate control;
- electronic front console;
- decorative chrome inserts;
- multimedia system with touch screen.
The model will be equipped with just one version of the petrol engine with a volume of 1.5 liters (110 hp). The power plant will be combined with an automatic machine or a variator, while the car can only boast of a leading front axle. In Russia, the model, which will cost the potential owner from 800 thousand rubles in the basic configuration, will appear no earlier than the summer of 2018.
Grand Lancer is a new sedan from Mitsubishi
The Japanese company Mitsubishi plans to achieve growth in sales in the sedan class due to the Grand Lancer model. The novelty is a modified version of the Lancer X, although the total body length has increased to 4500 mm. The embossed fenders, frame and chassis remain the same. Drastic changes only the interior of the car was affected: everything was replaced in it, from the steering wheel to the trim materials. The list of the main elements of the interior of the Grand Lancer includes:
- modernized relief of the chairs with anatomically correct backrest;
- multimedia system with touch control;
- new climate control unit;
- motor start button;

Mitsubishi Komorebi - the prototype of the future
Mitsubishi Komorebi is a concept car presented at the end of 2016. It is interesting in that it is planned to construct an updated generation on its basis. flagship sedans Galant and Lancer. The appearance assumes the rejection of the front grille, which will be partially replaced by the head optics. Only two chrome strips act as protective elements, which are a kind of continuation of the headlights.

The new Mitsubishi models of 2017-2018 are mainly full-fledged SUVs and crossovers. In an effort to increase significantly at any cost fallen sales in the global market, the manufacturer refused to modernize and release compact sedans or hatchbacks. Nevertheless, even those models that are planned to be launched on sale are striking in their reliability, stylish design, and also quite acceptable cost.
