But the problem is that all these controls are finished with lacquered black plastic, which is not entirely practical for a pickup truck, because it is scratched and the dust is visible on it, and any touch leaves a mark.

    Now in all trim levels, starting with the basic one, there is a USB connector, and you can also connect external sound sources to the radio. A small niche with an interesting removable plastic shelf appeared under the center console. The rocker of the gear selector is also finished in lacquered plastic. It is not known how long it will look presentable, but on new car looks beautiful.

    Those who have dealt with the previous Mitsubishi L 200 will probably notice that now there is only one lever on the central tunnel - the gear selector, and the transmission is no longer controlled by a lever, but by means of a selector washer. Generally, this is convenient, although it deprives the car of the feeling of an "honest car" in which everything is controlled by real levers. However, before the lever was also not ordinary, but was essentially an electronic switch.

    The glove compartment is now opened with a button and locked. As for the devices, they have also changed, but they still look quite simple and unpretentious.     As for the seats, as you know, earlier on the L 200 it was a real problem and the drivers constantly complained about them. New seats have now been installed, but they are not perfect either. Of course, the lateral support has become better, the pillow has become more comfortable, but it cannot be said that they are very comfortable. If we proceed from the fact that a pickup is a purely utilitarian car, then they can be described as not bad.     In a word, there are improvements in the driver's seat, but the back is still full of asceticism and there is not much space. Sitting back "by itself" immediately resting your knees on front seat... It is also strange that the developers did not want to make a pocket in the driver's seat, only the passenger seat has it. There are no personal air vents at the back, nor a 12-volt outlet.

    But the Mitsubishi pickup, unlike most of these cars sold in our market, has a center armrest on the second row. It is not very convenient to pull it out, since the developers did not consider it necessary to attach some kind of tongue to it for greater convenience. It also has two cup holders. It is also good that there is no high central tunnel under your feet, and therefore the third passenger will also be able to sit comfortably.

    It is worth paying tribute to the desire of the developers of this car to give the back of the second row a more correct slope. Now it's more comfortable to sit in the back. Now they should pay attention to the improved molding of both the cushions and the backrests of the rear seats.
