KIA Ceed since its appearance on the "firmament" of the global automotive market has been able to radically change the attitude of buyers towards the Korean car industry.

The announcement of the Kia Sid took place in 2012 and since then the car has managed to attract a lot of attention from motorists, experts in the automotive industry and critics.
It is noteworthy in the case of this model that the company, when creating it, was guided by Europe - hence the pleasant and modest appearance, as well as the outstanding quality and fit of the interior details.
The car, updated last year, as noted by the manufacturer, incorporated not only the Kia Seed 2011 technical characteristics, but also added aggressiveness and became more modern, and this applies not only to the exterior, but also to some interior elements.
At the moment, the car is being produced in Slovakia, however, the company emphasized that after a while the assembly of the modernized one will begin in the Russian Federation, at the Kaliningrad plant Kia.
It is worth noting that even with the release of the update, the vehicle was able to maintain its value at the same level, due to which Sid justifiably bears the title of one of the most justified cars in terms of price and quality.
Exteriors
The designers decided not to rush to extremes, while maintaining the overall style vehicle... The designers have made a small correction, taking into account the latest global trends. The vehicle has got an updated optics pattern, much more interesting fog lights integrated into the bumper. The radiator grille has also changed, adding in size and becoming more stylish.
The lower parts of the side doors were supplemented with a longitudinal rib, and the outlines of the body became more elongated and now it resembles a rifle bullet. This decision influenced aerodynamic drag and, in fact, the fuel consumption of the car. It is possible to notice the differences in the profile of the update and the predecessor by the new rims, which received a much more curious and beautiful pattern.
The rear of the car has a massive bumper and updated dimensions that add aggressiveness to the vehicle. The designers emphasized that the main task is to change the exteriors towards a more aggressive appearance.
The dimensions of the car have hardly changed:
- Length - 431 cm;
- Width - 178 cm;
- Height - 147 cm;
- The wheelbase is 265 cm.
As before, the car will be presented as a hatchback or station wagon. The latter type is in great demand in our country, since it has a stylish, sporty-aggressive appearance, and it is also characterized by greater practicality in daily use. In general, the Kia Seed Station wagon technical characteristics make a positive impression.
One of the main advantages of the updated version is the interiors, which have become not only more respectable, but also characterized by better spaciousness in comparison with the others. The manufacturer emphasized that the vehicle interior is much more expensive and of high quality in terms of finishing materials.
It is important to note that the gloss used to decorate some interior elements is made of a scratch-resistant material, which is a significant advantage over competitors whose gloss finish is rapidly covered with scratches.
In addition, the car interior became significantly quieter, which was realized through the use of the latest sound-insulating material, thus, in no way inferior to European counterparts.
It is curious that an individual dashboard which has become more stylish and elegant.
On the new car, the steering wheel received extensive multifunctionality, which in more expensive versions can be trimmed with leather High Quality... Transport has acquired a push-button engine start system, which now has a pleasant-to-touch brushed aluminum.
The driver's seat is characterized by excellent balance, and is also capable of providing good lateral support, and due to the large number of adjustments behind the steering wheel, drivers of any size will be able to sit down.
The back can accommodate three adults, while the feeling will be quite relaxed - there is enough space not only in the area of the shoulders and knees, but also higher, so the new updated version is perfect as an affordable family car.
If we talk about the Kia seed hatchback technical characteristics, then the car is not characterized by huge space and is limited to only 380 liters, but the backs of the seats fold, thus increasing the amount of space for cargo. In the universal version, the volume increased to 528, which can be increased more than 3 times by folding the second row seats.
For the most part, vehicle interiors have become better quality and more ergonomic. The fact that Kia paid a lot of attention to nuances, which is not particularly typical of Korean cars, deserves a separate mention.
The updated car got upgraded suspension, with which it turned out to significantly reduce noise and vibrations transmitted to the vehicle interior. Also, the designers installed updated struts and hollow-type stabilizers, which had a positive effect on lateral stability... The changes were made to the steering wheel settings and the geometry of the front wheels.
A number of engines, as before, are represented by solutions of gasoline and diesel type. Gasoline options are represented by two units:
The first with a volume of 1.4 liters and a hundred Horse power... Such an engine accelerates to a hundred in less than thirteen seconds, and gasoline consumption is no more than six liters with a combined cycle.
The 1.6-liter version is capable of delivering 130 horsepower, characterized by more dynamic acceleration. It accelerates to 100 in 11.5 seconds, and fuel consumption is around seven liters.
Diesel units for 1.6 liters with a capacity of one hundred or 136 horsepower. The acceleration dynamics for both options is no more than eleven seconds. The gearbox plays an important role here. Fuel consumption is not more than 6.4 liters in case mixed cycle, and the maximum indicator stopped at 195 kilometers per hour.
The charged power unit with a volume of 1.6 liters. and 204 horsepower, which is installed on the GT. A car can exchange a hundred with such a motor in just 7.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is at 230 kilometers per hour.
